The Fate Franchise is a large universe that crosses between different universes and timelines to tell stories on a large scale. A story based on the popular gaming series in Japan
Destiny/Extra: Last Encore was a side series based on one of the DRPG -Learable Titles, Destiny/Exta game. The game contained characters from the video game but was placed in a new story. Hakuno is the protagonist of this series and wakes up inside a virtual battlefield for the current Holy Grand War along with over a hundred other hopeful “champions”.

Destiny/stay night
The original introduction to the fate universe
Destiny/stay night is the first series in the long list of Fate stories and is considered the main start of the franchise. The story focuses on Shirou Emiya, a young high school students who is drawn into the Holy Grail war when he inadvertently becomes the master of a Saber Class hero. This paints a goal on his back, which leads to him being allied with Rin Tohsaka, a young master who also participates in the war.
The story follows the relationship between Shirou and Saber, dive into each other's past and how they grow with every experience. Shirou learns about its latent magical abilities, and Saber finds his spark of heroism, which has long been neglected. Destiny/stay night is a great place to start and provide a simple introduction to the rules and circumstances of Fate universe.

Set up as another sidely of Fate Universe, the story focuses on Rin Tohsaka and Eduelfelt Luvitagelita, which are bitter rivals in the Magical Academy. As the two top students in the school, the circumstances gather them, and they have the task of finding several class cards containing the essence of heroic spirits.
The two girls each receive a sept, which gives them increased magical power and a transformation. Unfortunately, their inability results in working together in the fact that the sceptors reject them and find two different hosts. Now the girls must induce random children in their task and try to put their differences as the situation grows weakly and the lives of all four girls stay at stake.

Destiny/grand order starts an alternative timeline that introduces two new main characters in a drastically different environment than most Fate Anime starts with. Located in a not so distant dystopian future where the world has been decimated by the heroic Spirit King Solomon, a secret organization of Mages known as the Chaldea organization, an assignment begins to regain seven singularities and repair the injuries that were done.
With everyone but a singularity recovered, Ritsuka and his servant Mash must now travel to the past and end their mission. At a time when Gilgamesh is currently King, Mash and Ritsuka meet dangerous odds when everything tries to stand in their way of fixing the world.

Takes place in another alternative timeline during the third Holy Grail War, Destiny/apocryf tells a drastically different story in a world of alternative characters and another power structure compared to the primary story of Destiny/stay night. In this series, the Holy Grail war has been divided into the middle, with two sides that produce armies of Mages and servants.

Destiny/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works Works In fate the universe on a different path that tells the same story but adds details and different views. In this series, the main focus is moved to Rin Tohsaka and her servant, Archer.
It explores the story of the Holy Grail War and adds a feud between Shirou and Archer. It is revealed that Archer is not a hero of the past but instead one of the future who wants to regret his mistake in becoming a heroic spirit and has to participate in countless battles. There are a number of extra conflicts in this series, as well as a higher total quality of the animation. Fans that have already seen the original Destiny/stay night should watch this series.

A story about the past on a larger scale
Destiny/zero tells the story of the events ten years before Destiny/stay night During the fourth Holy Grail War. The series introduces a number of servants who showed up in Destiny/stay nightLike Saber and Berserker. However, a lot of different masters show up, including Shirou's father, Kiritsugu Emiya. This Holy Grare War differed from Destiny/stay night So much more happens behind the scenes.
Kiritsugu is hired to eliminate other masters to move the victory in a certain direction and as a ruthless and calculated murderer, he also does so at the expense of his own humanity. Kiritsugu tries to cut a way for him and his wife to live freely. Unfortunately, his wife is property for his clients, which drives him to make drastic decisions.
