If they preferred to explore, there were dozens of caves and ancient forts to investigate. Plus, with the weapon and magic systems, players could customize their characters to their liking. Any player can easily be dropped into the world and find fun in some form.

The Grand Theft Auto games have complex stories that some players find very compelling, but from a gaming perspective, it also allows anyone to have a good time and wreak havoc with easy-to-learn driving and shooting controls.

It looks dated now, even with HD upgrades, but there's no doubting how much fun any gamer can have turning on the game for the first time. Just sitting on the title screen and drawing Mario's face can make for some memorable moments.

Some will have more natural talent than others for creating wonders, but that's to be expected, just like LEGO creations. There are obstacles at night via various creatures, but god mode can do Minecraft even more accessible if players don't want to deal with combat.

Tetris is a basic block puzzle game so ingrained in pop culture that people are practically born knowing how to play it. There are MANY versions of Tetris that players can buy on any number of systems, but if they still have a cartridge and an original Game Boy at home, and they give it to a young child or an elderly parent, they will get it.
Move blocks around, complete rows, move on and repeat. It's one of the most classic video games of all time, and it was a stroke of genius for Nintendo to include it with the Game Boy, changing the video game market forever.
