The basis of each character in Baldur's Gate 3 are the ability results for each of their statistics. Promoted results determine modifiers for almost everything that a character does throughout the game, and depending on their class and what they want to use them for, some ability points must be higher than others.

Each class uses ability points in some way to determine damage or how good magic formulas work, so it is important to have the right ability points for your chosen class. There are many ways to get more ability points, either through a specific performance, unique interactions or objects. Here is what ability points you should focus on increasing, depending on the character's class.

The ability to improve in Baldur's Gate 3 can and should be taken every fourth level. This achievement gives you two points to distribute how you wantThrough you can only go up to a maximum of twenty on all abilities with this performance. There are additional articles and unique interactions that can be found randomly in the game that allow you to go beyond this limit, even if they are very rare. Each character in the game can get this performance, making it the best performance universally, as it makes everyone better at what they already do.

Ability Score Modifier explained in Baldur's Gate 3

For Each other points in a great ability you get a +1 modifier for all skills affected by that ability. Usually, the highest modifier you get a +5 by reaching 20 in all abilities if you do not find something that allows you to go beyond 20. In the case of skill, for example, your armor class and initiative is affected by that ability, so getting a +3 modifier for that ability will provide both your AC and initiative A +3 boost. This modifier may have a reverse effect on capabilities for ten, resulting in negative ability to make modifiers for all the skills concerned.
