Battlefield 6 showcases a new Eastwood map

Battlefield 6 is officially showing off the newest map coming to the game in just a couple of days, with players jumping into the Hollywood-inspired Eastwood for urban combat. The latest numbered entry in the beloved shooter series had an explosively successful launch last month, with hundreds of thousands of players flocking to the shooter. Battlefield 6 peaked at nearly 750,000 players right after launch, and EA and DICE continued to push out more updates for the game. Now, Battlefield 6 gives an early teaser of its next new map.

Battlefield 6 offers a wide variety of different maps for players to play, with several unique environments for players to explore and battle their way through. Battlefield 6 features more than 10 different maps for players to try, with a mix of close-quarters metropolitan environments like Manhattan Bridge and open combat zones like Operation Firestorm. The shooter's “Portal” system has also given fans the chance to experiment with custom maps Battlefield 6which offer unique new types of challenges. Battlefield 6 is now getting ready to launch its newest localization.

Battlefield 6 Reveals Hollywood-Inspired Eastwood Map

Battlefield 6 shared a teaser for the new Eastwood map on the game's official social media accounts, which is set to launch in just a couple of days. Eastwood looks to draw heavy inspiration from Hollywood and Los Angeles as a whole, with players battling it out on city streets, lavish mansions and sunnier California settings. The teaser trailer even shows players traversing an entire golf course, and Eastwood also brings a new golf cart vehicle in Battlefield 6. Battlefield 6's Eastwood is currently scheduled to launch on Tuesday, November 18.

Battlefield 6s new Hollywood-themed map isn't the first major American city to feature an in-game map in the shooter. New York City saw several maps based on the metropolis debut with the game's launch, with both “Manhattan Bridge” and “Empire State” offering different viewpoints of the iconic city. Siege of Cairo also draws inspiration from the titular city in Egypt, offering similar melee combat with players able to duck in and out of buildings and use the urban environment to their advantage.

Battlefield 6 Adds Eastwood Map

A brand new map will be added Battlefield 6 are far from the only major changes planned to come to the shooter in the near future. A recent data mine from the game hinted at that Battlefield 6 may have as many as nine new game modes in development, hinting at new game modes such as Convoy, Tug of War, and Payload among others. The launch of Eastwood will also ring in the launch of Phase 2 of the game's Season 1, bringing the “Sabotage” limited-time game mode and several updates to the RedSec Battle Royale mode. Battlefield 6 fans should have a lot to look forward to from the shooter in just a couple of days.
