Battlefield 6 Boss Vince Zampella has criticized the EA app for its launch day Esco, which prevented a significant number of people who pre-ordered the game from playing it as soon as it was released. The CEO went as far as giving advice to some fans to buy Battlefield 6 on Steam, although they first have to repay it via the EA app.
EA's PC start has caused headaches for Battlefield 6 Owners from the moment the game debuted on October 10. Although long buying bodies can be expected from some massively popular multiplayer game on the first day, Battlefield 6 PC players who bought the shooter via the EA app reported a complete inability to play because of unexpectedly unsuccessful content owner checks.

When the interruption on October 10 was pulled on, Battlefield Franchise manager and EA EVP Vince Zampella took to X, former Twitter, to get involved with fans and share their own frustrations with the situation. The CEO said he had “screamed” about the service failure and later encouraged some players to repay the EA app version of the game and instead buy the first person shooter via Valve's store. The steam version of Battlefield 6 Does not require the EA app, which allowed it to avoid the problems experienced by the publisher's servers.

Anyone who tried and failed to log into the game via the company start on day one will receive bonus XP boosters and a premium version of Sagittarius first combat pass for free. The latter is expected to trade for $ 9.99, although EA has not yet officially confirmed its individual pricing. Premium Battle Pass was already part of The Phantom Edition, which means that players who bought that version of Battlefield 6 Via the EA app – without a refund and change to Steam that Zampella prevailed – can end up worse than those who just bought the base game. The battle pass will be released on October 28 and coincides with the beginning of Season 1.
