In the middle of the fantasy role play, hundreds of hours of play and lots of content it is easy to overlook how fun Baldur's Gate 3 is. The scenes in the camp and the joke between our beloved companions can always make us laugh despite the world -closing threat we are facing. But it is always more fun when comedy is unintentional.

I couldn't care less about sending Wyll to hell in Baldur's Gate 3
Mizora warned me something like that would happen, but I was not attentive.
NPCs who react in strange ways, well -re -warned players who break the game, and regular bad luck can end up with some funny consequences on your Playthrough. Speaking of it was a Baldur's Gate 3 player surprised to know that NPC they thought was a joke character turned out to be one of the original persons.
WYLL continues to die during his intro -tride
Depending on when you come across him, Wyll has the flashiest introduction of all companions. He shows up on Swashbuckling Mode at the gateway to Emerald Grove to help fight the sneezes. You can later recruit him and see his story develop. But Redditor Iwasdracula missed all this because Wyll unfortunately died in the first meeting, which made them think it was a joke.
“I thought Wyll was a joke character,” they said. “When I first started the game, I reached the grove and had to fight against Goblin's when Wyll showed up and had this cool ass and then when the battle starts he gets killed on the first turn, so I was as oh it was a fun script event and just went on after the fight never revived him and missed his story.”
Wyll was never the most popular Baldur's Gate 3 -follower, but this was a low point for him as well. It seems that a number of players have reported that he tends to die in the first screen or is completely missing by new players. “What is fun is that the scene was put in to make him more noticeable because many people completely miss his appearance there and then him in Lunden,” a comment pointed out.
“Dev's hated Wyll so much. It's as if they were going out of their way of making his AI terrible for the Grove fight. He uses Arms of Hadar (an area of effect spelling) on a single Niss and then has a decent chance of being killed to run into the lead with Goblins,” pointed out another player.
But not everyone is of the same opinion about Wyl, “It is quite wild how often people claim that he is killed in this opening struggle and he has never once come even close to death the 10+ times I have done it. It is like the people who claim that Isobel is not suicide, I have to assume that it is an urban legend,” said another.
