On February 27, 2026, Wit Studios' official X (formerly Twitter) shared an image of the main cast of Attack on Titan. In the picture, Eren and the rest were wearing clothes that were very different from their usual ones. Naturally, the photo has sparked widespread rumors, with many suggesting that a new Attack on Titan project may be in the works.
Truth be told, a new project seems the most likely outcome. But fans should keep their expectations grounded, as the chances of Attack on Titan getting a massive project are slim.

The remake is still years away from release
Aside from the possible Attack on Titan project, Wit Studio is currently working on the One Piece remake, which was announced all the way back in 2024. Unfortunately, there has been almost no real news about the project, indicating that it is still in the early stages of production.
The studio has shared character designs and city models, but a trailer has yet to be revealed.
A small section of the fan base has been unhappy with the remake, believing it to be disrespectful to the original and completely unnecessary. However, that couldn't be further from the truth. Wit Studios' primary task is to create an adaptation that will appeal to modern audiences.
The latter in particular is a major problem with the original One Piece anime. A lot of the time the arcs feel really stretched out, effectively killing fan interest. Hopefully, Wit Studio will share an update in the coming months.
