Atelier Yumia and Tekken 8 announce crossover -content
Along with the announcement from Atelier Yumia Publisher Koei Tecmo, a short trailer has been released that can give away some of what players can expect from crossover. The trailer has the main character Yumia wearing a blue puni, a common mucus-like monster in the franchise, which has been decorated with a white mustache, eyebrows and spiky side-off-head reminder of often Tekken Series Villain Heihachi Mishima. Yumia then throws puni from a cliff before turning to the camera with a smirk, a Throwback reference to the complicated relationship between Heihachi and his colleague Fighting Game Roster member and son, Kazuya.
The mating of games is an unusual, as Atelier Series usually have a much lighter and lighter tone than TekkenGrutty's noisy places. Still fans that react to the trailer seem at least amused by the developer's knowledge and appreciation of the source material, with some calling it the cutest Tekken-Style Devil Gene test through the ages.
