Assassin's Creed Shadows takes one of AC3's best features to new heights

Assassin's Creed Shadows Has finally been released, and so far it seems to beat all the right notes. Not only did it finally take the franchise to the feudal Japan, but it has also raised the RPG framework with a whole number of exciting changes. All this has helped make it a fantastic adventure for fans, but there is a feature that really stands out among the crowd: its new dynamic seasons.

Assassin's Creed Shadows Have taken seasons, expanded them tremendously and made them a core in the actual game loop. While previous items have had weather effects, the last time seasons was a remarkable part of the series was back with Assassin's Creed 3. Since then, Ubisoft has apparently pulled away from the concept, but Shadows Have again made them an exciting part of the formula. And now that they are here hopefully seasons will become a core of the franchise in the future.

Unlike real life, there were only two seasons: summer and winter. In the summer much of the game would play like how it did before Assassin's Creed titles, with the addition of single fog or rain. In winter, the country would be coated in thick snow, which would reduce visibility and help improve stealth. In addition, Connor would have to hike through large snow drives and leave a road wherever he went.

The seasons would change throughout the story, and when the players were ready Assassin's Creed 3They could change it when they wanted to. Although it wasn't really a gaming exchange, this feature helped to give the game a little more of a life -like feeling. However, Ubisoft chose not to significantly expand it in future items. The weather effects may have been transferred, and some areas in the future open worlds contained things like snow, but the actual season transitions were nowhere to be found. Fortunately it seems to be finally changing with Assassin's Creed Shadows.

Assassin's Creed Shadows Have again taken on seasons, but this time they are drastically different. For starters, the season change is now a core of gameplay loop. Each season is divided into two recovery, which occurs after a certain amount of time in the game has passed. The first occurs in the middle of one season while the second occurs at the end, with the only big difference is that you start a whole new season. With each recovery, players receive resources for their hiding place, their speids and areas on the map update and new contracts appear. In addition, warnings and local fractions will also be updated. This gives players a largely pure slate, which is linked to beautiful aesthetic changes.

Just as in the real world, each of the four seasons has its own unique aesthetics for players to suck in. The colors of the leaves change, vegetation dies or grow, animals appear and traversal can even be affected. Seasons also bring new dangers, hiding places and even some season's exclusive content in Assassin's Creed Shadows. All this provides a rather exciting feature that shapes each Playthrough in very meaningful ways.

Inject this type of seasonal system in Assassin's Creed Shadows Have really helped make the whole experience much more lively. It is poignant to see the ground change and get the changed weather actually affect how the game is played a little. Now that Ubisoft has reintroduced them, hopefully it has no plans to move away from seasons again.
