Ahead of the shooter's big Flashpoint update next week, developer Embark Studios has rolled out a new one ARC Raiders patch for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC on March 24. The most recent ARC Raiders the update doesn't make any significant changes or add any new content to the game, but it does bring new cosmetic items and some key fixes that should improve players' overall experience when leading Topside.
With March coming to an end, many ARC Raiders fans are patiently waiting to jump into this month's big content update, officially known as Flashpoint. The free patch will be released on March 31 and will be the third of four updates coming to the game in the first half of 2026. Earlier this year, Embark revealed its plans for ARC Raiders with a 2026 roadmap detailing all major updates between January and April. It's unclear if the studio intends to reveal a second roadmap once April's Riven Tides patch is deployed, but players still have plenty to look forward to in the meantime.
ARC Raiders Devs prioritize pure discovery over the standard shooter experience
The team behind ARC Raiders is currently prioritizing world discovery and adventure as they move away from the usual focus on action and shooting.
ARC Raiders Releases Update 1.21.0
Embark has already started teasing ARC Raiders' big Flashpoint update for next week, but the studio is now letting fans know with a brand new patch that can be downloaded for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and PC right now. Update 1.21.0 isn't much to write home about, but it does include a few new cosmetic items for players to purchase, including a new Raider tool and backpack set. There are also a handful of fixes, including one for a crash that sometimes occurred with DirectX 11, a fix for an issue that caused players to get stuck in the harvester between destroyed ARC parts, a fix for an exploit that allowed players to walk through walls when holding a fuel cell or field box, and more.

The team also touched on next week's big content update, saying it's currently hard at work getting the patch ready for its March 31st release date. At the time of writing, not much is known about the update, but Embark recently teased fans with a short video that seemingly confirmed that the deadly Shredder will be making his way to another ARC Raiders map. The caption for the video reveals that “someone forgot to close the Stella Montis doors on the way out”, with the accompanying video showing the underground tunnels of the Blue Gate. Although it's only a teaser, it appears that next week's Flashpoint update will see Shredder also become available at the Blue Gate, finally leaving the confines of Stella Monti.
The flash point is set to arrive a little over a month after ARC Raiders' big Shrouded Sky update, which once again added tons of new content to the shooter. Embark added a new Hurricane Map Condition, which comes with some deadly new weather effects for players to contend with, as well as two new ARC enemies: Firefly and Comet, the former of which has already become the third deadliest ARC in the game. Shrouded Sky also saw the debut of a new Raider Deck, facial hair customization, a new Dam Battlegrounds location and more.
However, what many are most excited about is April's big Riven Tides update. According to the official roadmap for 2026, next month's patch will see a brand new map and a new major ARC enemy added ARC Raiders. There has already been plenty of speculation about what the next map and ARC enemy might look like, with early development footage showing off a large flying ARC enemy, leading many to believe that this will be the next threat after the Queen and Matriarch.
