Embark Studios has shared a preview ARC Raiders content roadmap for the remainder of 2025. The agenda for the immediate future includes new weapons, events and missions, as well as another ARC Raiders map, among several other news.
Embark teased its post-launch plans for ARC Raiders just before the extraction shooter is released. The Swedish developer committed to releasing several “major” patches in the last two months of 2025, promising a host of new content, balancing changes and fixes. While not many details were provided at the time, Embark's executive producer Aleksander Grondal promised to share a concrete roadmap shortly after the game's launch.
ARC Raiders adds new map, weapons, events and more by the end of the year
The studio has now made good on that promise, having released a tentative content roadmap for the rest of 2025. The agenda identifies two major updates in the form of North Line and Cold Snap, which will roll out in November and December respectively. Both promise new things ARC Raiders missions and events, but only North Line is set to introduce an additional map. The location is called Stella Montis and will mark the game's fifth map to date.

Although the PvPvE dynamic is at the heart of what does ARC Raiders a compelling experience, additional maps could potentially improve the appeal of the core formula and improve the game's staying power. That thinking may have contributed to Embark's decision to prioritize the launch of Stella Montis while its extraction launcher is still in its infancy. The November 2025 map update will also add new ARC machines: Matriarch and Shredder.
Conversely, December's Cold Snap patch will debut the Snowfall state, the Flickering Flames event, and a new Raider Deck—the game's jargon for battle passes. Another expedition departure window will also be part of the package, meaning that December 2025 will mark the start of a new expedition cycle. Regardless of these two major updates, Embark has promised that smaller content drops will expand ARC Raiders' selection of map conditions, feats, trials and cosmetics, among other features and elements.
The preliminary content roadmap for 2025 was shared just as ARC Raiders received its first post-launch update on October 31st. Identified by version number 1.000.006, the new version is almost entirely dedicated to bug fixes. It also temporarily disables Codex's virtual tracking feature while developers work on a fix for an issue that blocks certain lens types from unlocking correctly. More ARC Raiders hotfixes may arrive before the North Line update does.
