ARC Raiders is currently down

ARC Raiders servers appear to be back online. Some players are still facing long queues, likely due to many people trying to get into the game at once. The original story follows.

Many reports from ARC Raiders player indicates that the game is currently down. The reports started to appear around 6:00 PM PT on November 19 and at the time of publication, ARC Raiders players are still reporting problems getting into the game.

ARC Raiders has done quite well in terms of player popularity, with even ARC Raiders server slam sees a large turnout to play. However, despite efforts to ensure players can connect to the game seamlessly after these tests, there have been server issues with the game.

Embark's hit new extraction shooter ARC Raiders continues to gain active players and has now surpassed Battlefield 6 on one platform.

ARC Raiders players are reporting that the game is down

As of 6:00 PM PT/9:00 PM ET, players began pouring into social media to report that ARC Raiders was down. Fans have reported that they seem to be stuck in the queue that is not moving. In addition to social media reports, DownDetector indicates that there have been tens of thousands of reports indicating that there is currently a problem with the game. Players have also reported receiving an error message labeled ARSB0003, which usually means that online services are unavailable. For now, players are stuck waiting for a solution from the game's developer, Embark Studios. Unfortunately, it is not the first time in recent history that ARC Raiders players have had a hard time getting into the game. Players reported server issues with ARC Raiders on November 2 and November 14 also on social media. Some have speculated that this current outage may be due to a hotfix being applied, but so far the developers have not shared any updates or information about the outage.

While the downtime is unfortunate, especially since it happens during the evening hours when many players are at home and want to jump in, this is likely the game's early growing pains. Many games struggle with server issues early on. For example, Battlefield 6 had long lines to get into the game when it first launched. As the number of players stabilizes, it is likely that the game will experience fewer problems with unexpected server outages.

Besides server issues, ARC Raiders have already seen many successes. In addition to the high number of players, the game has received excellent reviews and was even nominated for Best Multiplayer Game at The Game Awards 2025, even though it came out just weeks before the nominations were announced. With any luck, these server issues will be behind the game soon, and players can focus on elements like the popular new map Stella Montis, which was unlocked by the community in less than 24 hours.
