ARC Raiders' new hotfix, released on February 11, fixes a glitch that gave weapons infinite ammo and also fixes several issues related to the duplication exploit and broken missions. Embark Studios has faced backlash in recent days after failing to pick up a major ARC Raiders exploit in one of its updates. Now, the studio appears to be accelerating its post-update hotfixes to appease the player base. This latest patch, which arrived just hours after the last one, makes that clear.
Prominent streamers, including TheBurntPeanut, pointed out the infinite ammo bug, which quickly drew attention to the issue. Triggering it was surprisingly easy: Players could swap their primary and secondary weapons a few times, then drop the secondary to load it with 100 bullets in a single magazine, regardless of weapon type. The exploit apparently worked mid-match, even during active fights, causing some of them to ARC Raiders best PvP weapons for devastating killing machines. Fortunately, Embark Studios fixed this problem much faster than the previous duplication error.
ARC Raider's latest patch targets more duplication bugs
Announced via Twitter and Discord, the February 11 hotfix aims to shut down ARC Raiders' newly discovered infinite-ammo glitch while eliminating the previous inventory duplication. The patch notes also mention quick fixes for some missions, including those with missing or incomplete objectives. However, the community seems to be much more focused on the two duplication issues, and for good reason.

Many players are happy to see Embark Studios speed up their response to ARC Raiders' game-breaking problem. The studio rolled out two hotfixes back-to-back within a short window, a marked change from its usual weekly update cycle. That said, some are still concerned that new exploits will continue to appear and potentially drive away players before Embark Studios can solve them all.
The infinite ammo glitch, for example, appeared just hours after the duplication patch went live ARC Raiders. It followed a similar pattern, requiring players to repeat simple actions like switching and dropping a weapon to trigger it. That raises concerns about how long it might take for another use to pop up and disrupt the experience again. So far, ARC Raiders has dealt with more than enough game-breaking issues, including wall hacking and weapon repair, that seriously undermine its PvP balance. As a result, many players are calling on the Swedish studio to take a tougher stance and impose tougher penalties on those who abuse these bugs.
Embark says these hotfixes are part of an ongoing investigation
In a post on the game's Discord server, the studio said: “These fixes have added to our ongoing investigation into the full impact of the issues and related exploits.” Embark previously warned about it ARC Raiders players who abuse these feats can face penalties, a statement that sparked new controversy. Some argue that it is unfair to punish players for problems caused by the developers in the first place, while others believe that letting exploit abusers off the hook would only encourage more players to seek out and take advantage of similar problems in the future.
More hotfixes may be on the way
The last few weeks have players and standouts ARC Raiders streamers have expressed frustration with the game's growing list of issues. Embark Studios seems to have taken that feedback to heart and is now moving to address these issues more quickly instead of sticking to its usual slower cadence. This suggests that faster hotfixes could be coming throughout February ahead ARC Raidersnext big update. Several exploits are still active, but the developer has now acknowledged them and seems intent on resolving them all.
