While many people seem to be enjoying their time with the hugely popular shooter Arc Raiderssome players encounter enemies who have made camping at the extraction site part of their recipe for success. This is not a particularly uncommon occurrence in titles such as Arc Raidersbut one player managed to share a humorous clip showing a camper suffering from karma in a short period of time.
Due to the game's instant popularity, some players initially experienced server issues in the Arc Raiders shortly after the game's launch. In an effort to fix the issue, Embark Studios quickly released a hotfix that fixed many of the issues people were having. While many fans were happy to simply see the servers stabilize, Embark Studios went one step further and gave away 500 Raider Tokens to all players who logged in on Sunday, November 2nd. Since then, things seem to have leveled off, as fans have been regularly uploading humorous clips of their experiences while playing the game.
In a recent post on Reddit, getaloaf, who appeared to play Arc Raiders solo, shared one such clip of them being taken down by another player who had been camping at the extraction site. Shortly after being knocked to the ground, getaloaf saw the enemy player being attacked by some of the world's NPC enemies. The RV couldn't protect itself properly and they ended up falling to the floor, causing them to crawl around. One can then see getaloaf stand up at a computer, initiating the extraction sequence. As the RV desperately tried to crawl back into the extraction zone, the doors slowly rose to deny them entry and prevent them from pulling out after their diabolical deeds.
Despite the game's PvP element, many players have also shared their pleasant experiences in Arc Raiders. In fact, it's been quite common to see clips of humans coming together, emoting with each other, and working in gleeful cooperation as they take the fight to the machines. However, there is no way to truly know what experience players will have or who they will face when they start a new match.
Although the popular extraction game is still very new, Embark Studios has already taken a moment to let players know what to expect from the game in the coming weeks and months. The latest roadmap for Arc Raiders mentioned that players will get access to a new map, Stella Montis, during November. There will also be a community unlock event, along with new quests and in-game items. In December, fans can look forward to experiencing the Snowfall map, the Flickering Flames event, and even more missions to complete. With so much content to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future Arc Raiders.
