Animal function can be its secret weapon

While many of DYING LIGHT: The BeastNew and improved features are the cause of celebration, the introduction of vehicles stands out as a strong sale site. Sure, parkour is an important pillar in the franchise, and DYING LIGHT: The Beast Don't forget it. But the vehicles in DYING LIGHT: The Beast is really something special.

At first glance it seems that vehicles would be harmful to the parkan -oriented game DYING LIGHT: The Beast. However, there are two reasons why fans should not be quick to dismiss them. As long as Techland delivers on all its promises, they are another tool used to navigate in the zombie-populated Castor Woods and not a replacement for something that does well. They realize some of the zombie fanas that the first and second titles just didn't.

DYING LIGHT: The Beast Dev reveals 10 game details you may have missed [EXCLUSIVE]

Game Rant speaks with Dying Light: The Beast's Techland about game details, hidden mechanics and world -building touch that fans may have missed.

DYING LIGHT: The animal is so similar to the following it almost hurts (in a good way)

DyingAfter DLC introduced a vehicle in the game, one as a player had to handle when they navigated in the game's survival mechanics. If there is a classic video playing experience

Fighting zombies with all kinds of melee weapons, shoots zombies with different firearms and drives zombies with vehicles. Of course, Dying and DYING Light 2: Stay Human Fulfilled their niches of zombie fantasy, but the following was especially through its story, its unique zombies and its navigation of the world. The following is, no doubt, one of the best content of Dying franchise, so the fact that DYING LIGHT: The Beast Wearing a similar vibe is only good for the experience.

Of course, no matter how special the following is, it is quite old now. It was released in 2016, and 9-year-old mechanics would not really work for DYING LIGHT: The Beast. Techland improves the experience to ensure that vehicle games are in line with the experience it wants. Techland has imagined DYING LIGHT: The Beast as Dying Light 3and while a proper trequel could certainly happen one day DYING LIGHT: The Beast is a full -fledged Dl experience. Techland's approach is to ensure that everything feels completely set, so vehicles are not just a simple connection to the game, but a full -fledged experience themselves. As Tymon Smekala told Game Rant, everything from sound design is considered to impact:

“One thing that makes our dive model really unique is how well he manages to beat and run over zombies … We spent significant time fine -tuning the physics in these interactions as well as the sounds that accompany them. Thwump, stains and screams were onomatopoeias that we used most often in these discussions.”

DYING LIGHT: The Beast's Vehicles have strong developers behind it

Having experienced developers who do things they are experienced is undoubtedly the strength of any studio. Many single-player studios have tried to travel down the live service tunnel before, so that it does not pan well (as just one example). The same can be said of all the features, so to see how Dying Has developed over the years is good for its core pillars. However, vehicles are also not service. Smekala pointed to some of Techland's history that few fans today may know:

“Techland Was Making Rally and Arcade Racing Games Almost 20 years ago, and One Series – Xpand Rally – Actually Had A Very Competitive Driving Model, Praised by the Rally Community, So It Only Lickes Licenses For Real Car That works with his team on the driving model for DYING LIGHT: The Beast was one of the Key People Involved in the Production of Xpand Rally and Other Racing Games we produced, so half joking, we can say that driving in dying lights: The animal was 20 years on the road.

While Smectal explains that it was half a joke, half is not because the pedigree delivers this experience. Better vehicle in DYING LIGHT: The Beast Average better games and better games across the line means a better zombie experience.

Techland always aims high, and its pedigree follows. A few years ago, Smekala told Game Rant: “We want to be considered one of the greats in the zombie genre.” Makes no mistakes, all in dying lights: the animal is designed with the ambition for Techland and its unique understanding of the zombie genre and adds that experience with another iconic part of zombie fanas will go a long way.
