Players who have visited The Blue Gate map may have come across a ruined fortress called the Ancient Fort i ARC Raiders. This desolate remnant of humanity stands atop a hill, and you'll discover a locked cellar door at its base that contains some of the most valuable loot on the map. However, players must find three fuses scattered around the old fort to unlock the basement door. This guide will help you find all the teeth and open the door in no time.

How to complete the old fort puzzle in ARC Raiders

Ancient Fort Location ARC Raiders

Players can find the ancient fort at southernmost part of the Blue Gate map in ARC Raiders. The area is medium loot, so expect contact with other attackers in this area, along with a moderate amount of ARC machine activity. After arriving in the area, you'll find the Ancient Fort's locked cellar door at the base of the western wall. It will have three bulbs on it, similar to the one found on the Raider's Refuge.

Ancient Fort Fuze Box Locations ARC Raiders

To open the cellar door you must find three fuzes/power cells scattered around and inside the fort. Players must pick up and deposit them into the three matchboxes located in the ancient fort. Here is a breakdown of the ignition box locations.

  1. Ignition box 1: Found at the foot of the southern wall of the ancient fort, on the outside.
  2. Fuze Box 2: Found only the first steps inside the fort, on the second floor courtyard.
  3. Fuze Box 3: Located inside the main building of the fort on the second floor, next to the ladder used to reach the top.

There is over 10 locations around the ancient fort where the ignition cells can play. Players will find wooden pallets in these locations, as the fuel cell will spawn on top of them. Here is a breakdown of all the fire tube/battery locations in the old fort ARC Raiders.

There may be more spawn locations for the igniter cells, but the ones mentioned below are some of the most common in and around the ancient fort.

We begin by listing the fuze locations from the west side of the ancient fort i ARC Raiders. Look west of the fort, inside an abandoned home with a pole inside.

The next ignition/battery location for the old fort is opposite the outer ignition box on the south side.

Another possible fire tube/battery location in the old fort is just to the right of the fuze 2 location, next to the totaled car.

Check the area east of the fort. Inside a broken house structure with radio dishes and a generator, you can find another fuse.

Then go to the northeast edge of the ancient fort. Look into a broken house structure next to the zipline to possibly find another ignition location for the ancient fort in ARC Raiders.

Continue northeast, across from the fifth ignition point, to find another ruined house with shelves and a couch. There is a wooden pallet inside that can create an ignition cell for the ancient fort.

Continue west via the road from the sixth ignition point to find a wooden pallet with two traffic cones. This is another place where a fuze can play.

Continue following the path west, past the fallen post, to discover another broken house structure. There is a wooden pallet outside the house that can create one of the ignition cells for the ancient fort in ARC Raiders.

Go to the northwest edge of the ancient fort to find one of the ignition cells on the wooden pallets.

Enter the ancient fort, take a right from the first set of stairs to reach a room with a hole in the ceiling. There is a wooden pallet near the cabinets that can spawn one of the power cells/ignitors.

Go to the top of the Ancient Fort in ARC Raiders using the ladder near the third ignition box to find a wooden stool next to the large antenna. This can also create a fuze to complete the old fort puzzle.

Once you've found all three fuse cells, you can insert them into the three fuse boxes to open the basement door to the Ancient Fort in ARC Raiders and complete their puzzle. It has a weapon case and several lootable areas such as crates, cabinets and metal panels that give you valuable loot.

Just make sure to finish looting quickly and get to the nearest extract to avoid getting jumped by an enemy player. Just to be on the safer side, you should keep the most valuable item in your Safe Pocket to ensure it is automatically extracted should your raider get knocked out in ARC Raiders.
