Pokemon Go's Unova Weekend at The Rose Bowl was Go Tours's most impressive event yet

There is still nothing like a Pokemon Go event.

Sizzlipede will start to appear in nature when Bug Out event starts at 10 local time on March 26 2025. Centriskorch will probably appear in nature as well, but much less often. Niantic has also confirmed that you will need 50 sizzilipede candies to develop the bug/fire type to centiskorch, so even if you do not find its developed form in nature during the event, it should be easy to harvest enough candy to develop one.

Pokemon Go's Bug Out event will introduce two more Gen 8 Bug types to the game

Prepare to welcome sizzlipede and centiskorch to the real world

Although Sizzlipede and Centiskorch are far from the first Pokemon introduced via Sword & Shield to find their way to Pokemon Go, even after they have been added later this month, more than half of Galars Pokémon will be missing from Go. Impressive that there are still so many to go with Gen 8 'Mons who first show up in Pokemon goes almost five years ago.

The Bug Out event will of course be more than just Sizzlipede and Centriskorch. Throughout the event, that will end at 20 local time on 30 March 2025Coaches will get double XP and more candy for nice throws. There will also be an increased chance of finding different bug types and their shiny variants in nature including Wurmple, Joltik, Dewpider and Nymble.

There will also be field and timed research to be completed during the event, and the ability to pay $ 2 for any exclusive timed research, one of the rewards to complete there are meetings with Kleavor, Heracross and debuting Sizzlipede. You will also be able to buy Sizzlipede boots for your avatar. I guess they are a tribute to the bug type and are not made by them. It would be dark.

Niantic detailed in the past what coaches can expect from this year's Go Fest, which made some big revelations about a festival debut and another Pokemon that finally left the security of its City Safari events. Volcanion is Pokémon's debut, and Skiddo will finally start to emerge all over the world after previously being locked to safaris.
