Raid in Fire Ring Nightreign are boss encounters that can occur on the first or second day of an expedition. Each raid functions as a world event and is different from each other. The base game only has four raids, but with the addition of Forsaken Hollows DLC, three new raids can now be triggered. The guide below provides information on all the newly added raids, how to complete them, and what powers players will enter Fire Ring Nightreign.
All returning Dark Souls Bosses in Fire Ring Nightreign

All DLC raids in Elden Ring Nightreign
Caligo Raid
The Caligo raid starts with the dragon covering the entire map in a thick fogwhich makes it difficult to see. In addition to this, Caligo will also shoot ice crystals all over the map, which harm you and cause frostbite. This can be a very annoying raid, so it must be dealt with as quickly as possible.
When the raid starts, you can immediately open your map to see a large red radius on the map where Caligo could be. Get there to find the dragon sleeping, and a few hits should send it flying awaycomplete the raid and grant yourself the following power-up:
- Cold Mirage: Hides when faced with a threat to life and neutralizes all attacks.
Gladius (Tricephalos) Raid
The Tricephalos raid is one of the more annoying raids in the game. When the raid begins, three Sundered Tricephalos will spawn in different locations. Your goal is to find everyone in the red areas marked on the map and deal with them. They are not that strong but are accompanied by smaller Tricephalos enemies. In addition to this, you and your allies will also take fire damage throughout the raidwhich damages you for a small percentage of your health every second.
The annoying part of this raid is how far apart they can spawn, which ruins your optimized run at times. Explore and make sure you don't fall off the map the great depression can be tough as it is, so having the Tricephalos raid on that map doesn't help either. If you is playing at Trios while communicating with the other teammates, you can assign one player to each Sundered Tricephalosbut they can be difficult to deal with early on, especially with the small enemies around them. The power you get by completing this raid is:
- Beast's Hunt: Successive attacks restore stamina and speed up stamina recovery for yourself and nearby allies.
Balance Raid
Finally, the last raid that has been added to the DLC is the Balancers raid, which is a fun one. All players will be teleported away as soon as the raid starts and will play in three different locations. These will either be Blacksmith Villages, where you can change weapon skills, or Encampments. Players will also lose some of their bottles, which will start to reset after each Balancer goes down.
Players will need to defeat a Balancer in these locations, which is always standing next to the boss of this location. This can be challenging as players will have to deal with the Balancers themselves and the area boss. But e.gThe balances don't have a lot of HP and are pretty easy to deal withso you should focus on them first. When all three are down, you get your health bottles back and get the following power up:
- Power to balance the world: Rise from near-death unaided sometimes. Attack power increases after rising from near-death.
