Koei Tecmo and Nintendo have officially revealed details about five playable characters coming Hyrule Warriors: Age of JailWhich includes four handers and Zelda's trusted maid. Hyrule Warriors: Age of Jail Developed by Koei Tecmo and will be published by Nintendo exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2 on November 6, 2025.
While the upcoming title will be the third part in Hire warrior spin-off series, has Nintendo revealed Hyrule Warriors: Age of Jail will be the first title considered canon. History will take place during the prison war, an important moment in the attitude leading into the events in The Legend of Zelda: Tears from the Kingdom. Many fans have expressed excitement over this new post in Zelda's timeline, as it is likely to Hyrule Warriors: Age of Jail Will provide even more context for the events that took place during 2023's breakout hit.
Hyrule Warriors: Age of prison reveals playable character details
Koei Tecmo and Nintendo have left new details about five upcoming playable characters in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Jail. Agraston is Goron Sage who also happens to be the leader of the Goron trunk. Qia is Zora Sage, a princess and a champion in martial arts known to inspire his people. Rafika serves both as a leader for Rito and as their visitor. At the same time, Ardi Gerudo Sage serves under Ganondorf as a member of the Gerudo tribe. The most unusual character, and perhaps the most interesting, is Lenalia, which acts as Zelda's fast maid.

After the game was announced, AAA Studio Head Yasuke Hayashi revealed that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Jail Started development as a Nintendo Switch title. He claimed that the studio shifted its focus to Nintendo Switch 2 halfway through the game's development, which greatly increased the title's image speed and the number of characters that could be displayed on the screen at the same time. Hayashi stated that the transition to Nintendo Switch 2 even made the development of the title more fun.
Many fans were happy to hear that Hyrule Warriors: Age of Jail will take full advantage of switch 2 hardware, as Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Often struggled to maintain a stable 30 frames per second, which made a choppy experience. From the pictures that have been released, it seems that this new title can hit a stable 60 frames per second. With the release of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Jail Less than a month away, players do not have to wait long to get hold of the series' next action -packed adventure.
