Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo takes place 68 years after the conclusion of the main story, so it's no surprise that fans wondered how the wizarding world had changed over the years. Of course, a lot has changed, considering most of the wizards they knew are either dead or out of commission. The laws surrounding sorcery have also changed, and a new alien race, called Simurians, now wants to coexist with humans on Earth. One thing that gives fans a familiar feeling even though it's a different era is the former protagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuji Itadori.

We must start looking for Yuji Itadori immediately to act as a deterrent! — Japanese wizards

Recently, Gege Akutami officially confirmed that Yuji Itadori is still alive in JJK. On top of that, Gege also confirmed that Yuji is still quite young and that his body has aged differently than the other wizards. Most importantly, however, Gege Akutami revealed to fans that Yuji Itadori is now the strongest in Japan. This was directly confirmed by the wizards' organization, as they are trying to establish a deterrent against the Simurians, who had Dabura on their side. To match Dabura, it takes nothing less than the absolute strongest on the wizard side, and everyone realizes that it is Yuji Itadori. This officially confirms it Yuji Itadori has taken over from Gojo Satoru as the strongest.

Japan is looking for Yuji Itadori

Even if Yuji is known to be the strongest wizard in Japanthere is another problem that needs to be addressed, and that is locating him. For some reason, Yuji Itadori is currently missing and he hasn't been seen in years, it seems. At some point, Yuji left the Wizarding Organization and decided to live alone. He has not been seen since. Why Yuji left the wizards and what his goals are at the moment remains to be seen. Thankfully, Japan has already started looking for Yuji Itadori because they can't waste a single second.

Yuji Itadori may have surpassed Gojo and Sukuna

When it comes to Yuji Itadori's powersthe fans know that he is at his strongest right now, but at the same time it also needs to be said he could have surpassed both Gojo and Sukuna. This is entirely possible as he has access to two different cursed techniques in Shrine and Blood Manipulation. On top of that, he also has access to RCT, Domain Amplification, and just about every major power he could need. Yuji has grown tremendously since Shinjuku Showdown and the world recognizes him on a level similar to Gojo. With that in mind Dabura is a Sukuna level threatit's just a given that Yuji will be just as strong, if not even stronger to balance things out.
