Will Attack on Titan ever return?

Unfortunately, with the manga ending in 2021, this is impossible. The story of Eren and his friends is now over, and it would be difficult to develop any characters after the ending that fans saw develop.
Perhaps, a prequel series would be a better option for Attack on Titan. After all, the series already has material that could work for a prequel anime, and it is a manga called Attack on Titan: Before the Fall. Fans have seen a similar project develop for My Hero Academia through its own prequel manga by another author, called MHA: Vigilantes. The Attack on Titan prequel would attract many fans, and would undoubtedly be a huge success, regardless of how good the story is.
