Actor Ralph Ineson strikes back over the interrupted Assassin's Creed

It was recently reported that Ubisoft had a good idea for an Assassin's Creed game, just to cancel it. As reported by Game File, this unannounced Assassin's Creed game would have been canceled after the American Civil War, and the player's character would have been a former slave, as part of a story involved KKK. But after the racist counter -reaction to Assassin's Creed Shadow's protagonist, Yasuke, it was interrupted.

The fan base has not been happy with this at all, with many disappointed to hear that not only has Ubisoft allegedly admitted the racists, but interrupted a game with a promising premise, seemingly to win them. But it's not just fans that are upset – they also have an actor from a previous Assassin's Creed game in their corner.

Ralph Ineson is not pleased with Ubisoft allegedly canceling a game because it has a former slave fighting against KKK

Ralph Ineson is best known for incredible performances in movies such as The Witch, Nosferatu and The Green Knight, but he has also been in some video games. One of these is Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, where he played Charles Vane.

So the report on this potential Assassin's Creed game appeared on his timeline, and he shared a simple, but meaningful answer: “Again, F*ck off”. The “again” section probably refers to how he had recently told an “AI actor” to Eff. What a perfect presence on social media.

If the first report is correct, and it was really interrupted because of racist strange, this would really be a cowardly movement on the part of Ubisoft. Even from a cynical, capitalist point of view, it would be a bit meaningful. Despite the aggressive opposition from some corners of social media, Assassin's Creed Shadows sold incredibly well. Back in August, that leadership on all other new editions this year, which gave Ubisoft a much needed victory after Star Wars Outlaws failed to impress commercially.

Right now there is nothing that says what Assassin's Creed game will be announced next. This war game after civilian was said to have been interrupted last year, so if it was ever under development, it is now far away, with enough time to have gone to think of something else. But who knows? After that game was said to have been interrupted, the shadows continued to perform incredibly well. Maybe it – and enough shame from people like Ineson – will be enough to encourage the company to explore the idea again. Either way, the idea is that it is interrupted at all is a condemnation of where we are now.
