On the surface, the world of A bit May seem very light, lively and innocent, and although it can really be, everyone who has read or seen the series will know that it is also quite dangerous. As a result, in order for a character to survive, they must be mature enough to accept the risks and responsibility that comes with being a navy or a pirate. That being said, however, there are still several individuals who, even though they are no longer children, obviously still have a lot to grow up.

These characters can tend to act quite childish and responsibly, to the point where those around them will remind them to act their own age when it gets tough. Again it is always very fun to see a character hold on to their younger years as firm as possible, despite how old they can be in the main history, and this really refers to A bit Characters listed below that just don't seem to want to grow up.

Buggy

Buggy is still as cowardly as he has always been

Buggy's finest performance that Pirat had the opportunity to go with Gol D. Roger back when the legendary captain was still alive and kicked, but as I said he was not exactly the most reliable member of the crew. Buggy was more than capable of cheering Shanks and the others up in difficult situations, but he was also known for being a massive coward who would usually flee from a struggle than protect their allies.

As an adult, he is honestly not that much different, because Buggy will always release a scream and run when he meets a tough opponent, who was shown several times in the Marineford War. That is why it is so shocking that buggy has managed to reach the status as Yonko, but if the fans are best honest, this is pretty much everything, given that buggy still works like a giant crying, even though it is now a experienced pirate.

Shirahoshi

Luffy encouraged Shirahoshi to mature and grow into his role as a princess

Speaking of Crybabies, Shirahoshi can technically be the princess on Fishman Island, but it is quite obvious to Luffy from the moment he meets her that she is far from a good fit for the role. For much of her life, Shirahoshi had been coded and protected by her royal brothers, but rather than eventually escape from the estate and get her own independence, she instead always had to be extremely shy and afraid of everything around her, even though she is meant to act as the leading figure of her people.

Even Luffy, who is known for being extremely childish and immature, was surprised at how sensitive Shirahoshi actually was when he spoke to her. In the end, however, it would be the Straw Hat captain who convinced Shirahoshi to get out of her shell, to the point where she even decided to travel to the surface to participate in Reverie, although it really took her a long time to finally accept the responsibility that came to be a member of Royalty.

Spandam

Spandam never became a honest and honest marine

It is really remarkable that Spandam reached such a high rank as a navy, considering that he clearly does not care so much about delivering true justice or being honest in any way, form or form. In fact, Spandam is clearly as selfish as he was back when he was still a child, as his only concern is to strengthen his own reputation and collect as much money as possible.

When he does not get his way, Spandam will always get to a burning rage, which complains about his current situation without ever doing anything about it. This was clearly shown when he struggled to catch Robin back in the Enie's lobby, where he constantly let his feelings be better off him and even called in a Buster call through complete accident. It is obvious that this notorious navy has a serious upbringing.

Sugar

Sugar fruit prevents her from getting older

While all the characters on this list have not been able to live up to their age from an emotional perspective, sugar is a little different. Her devil fruit, Hobi Hobi No Mi, makes it so that sugar will stop aging at the moment she eats it, which is why, even though she is actually 22 years old in the main history, she assumes the physical appearance of a child. While the fruit itself is extremely strong, which allows sugar to turn everyone she wants into a toy, the disadvantage is a pretty serious, given that everyone always feels the need to talk to sugar after forgetting her real age.

Although sugar has not seen since the dress pink arc, she actually stopped becoming quite memorable because of her fascinating devil fruit, which was strong enough to keep an entire island population under Doflamingo's control. While sugar itself may see the world from the eyes of an adult, she will unfortunately always be treated as a child for the rest of her life because of her physical appearance.

Flamp

An rude and snobbish brat who willingly turned on his own brother

Fans may remember Flampe as a spectator to Luffy and Katakuri's struggle who shot a barrier by Dart at the Stråhatt captain in the middle of the battle. Given that Flampe is always obsessed with proven himself and criticize others, it would be easy to assume that she is still just a child, but she is actually just a teenager who obviously still has a lot to learn.

Instead of staying with their family and supporting them in their needs, Flampe acted as a child and immediately turned his back on Katakuri after he revealed his great secret. It is true that it makes sense why some of the Big Mom's children would continue to act as spoiled Brats, given that their mother is not very different, although Flampe is definitely the most dramatic example of this.

As an abnormally large child, all great mom wanted to do when she was still young was to eat everything she could get hold of. When she did not fill her face with cake and sweets, Big Mom would enjoy participating in large and extravagant tea parties with her friends, or at least the friends she had not eaten by mistake yet. Instead of getting over his eating obsession and saying goodbye to the childish parties, Big Mom has remained the same child in heart throughout his life.

In fact, it was shown on the whole of Cake Island that if Big Mom does not get its filling of candy for the day, rather than peacefully talking to her children to acquire a little more, she instead acts as the biggest child of them all, destroys everything and everything on her way to prove a point. She may be one of the most powerful pirates in the series, but Big Mom's childhood obligation is still clear as day to see.

Fuzzy

Luffy explores the wide -open seas with an infectious and childish wonder

In most anime and manga stories, the main character will gradually become more serious or mature during the series, but Luffy is the exception. Although he has gone through hell and back several times and lost several characters and friends on his journey, including his entire crew at one point, he has always managed to retain a childish sense of wonders that make him such a fun leader to follow. In Flashbacks that has been shown, Luffy was a positive and happy child who was always fascinated by the world around him, and it is fair to say that the same could be said to his appearance in the main history.

Although this has sometimes placed its position as captain in Jeopardy, his childish nature is ultimately more a strength than a disadvantage, because it allows him to keep the adventure fun and exciting with his funny discoveries. Even when he decides to go out with his power, for example when he released Gear 5 against Kaido, Luffy's immaturity is still fully represented by the entire body that turns into a living cartoon, which makes him very different compared to the average dark and furious protagonist.
