Campaigns have never been the greatest draw of Battlefield franchise. As I said, there have been plenty of memorable assignments with a player in Battlefield23-year-long story, a handful that comes from the 2011 Battlefield 3.
Still considered by many (including new Battlefield Head Vince Zampella) to be the top of the entire franchise, Battlefield 3 offered fans the complete package. An expansive multiplayer mode with modern destruction physics and some of the best maps in the series history, a full-fledged film campaign and even a full length collaboration campaign was included on day one. It's no surprise to hear that Battlefield 6 Want to hear back to the golden era, and there is an old well from which the developers can still pull.

It's time for Battlefield to visit BF3's Jet assignment
What made Battlefield 3's “Going Hunting” so memorable?
At the end of the 2000s, Customs calls Erected Ante for film campaigns in the military shooting genre. Rather than letting their rival take all the glory, Battlefield Decided to deliver a movie campaign. While Battlefield 3The campaign may not have the best story, characters or even moment-to-moments, it is home for a handful of sequences that easily go toe-to-toe with some of Customs callsis the best.
Such a sequence is Battlefield 3'S' hunt. 'The campaign's fourth assignment, “Going Hunting” sees that players take the role of LT Jennifer Hawkins, a weapon system manager who takes the sky with his pilot. While they are up there, players must take down some enemy jet aircraft and launch some missiles on radar and landed aircraft on the ground below.
Game-wise, “Going Hunting” is nothing too special, essentially acts as a standard action game Turret sequence. But what makes this assignment so memorable is its presentation and atmosphere. From the moment “goes hunting” starts, and players go out on the aircraft's transport tire in the middle of a brutal storm, it is clear that they are in something special.
The simple process of controlling the F-18 hunting tabs and weapons systems feels surprising, with the iconic Battlefield Musical theme that is slowly building in the background as the sun breaks through the dark storm clouds above. The following is an intense and exciting air dog fight, complete with hard -hitting sound design and breathtaking images that still hold shockingly well over a decade later. The dedication to make this sequence feel as realistic as possible feels at every turn, and that is a fundamental reason why fans remember this assignment so fond.
Battlefield 1'S' friends in high places' war history did a good job of capturing the cinematic spirit to “go hunting”, albeit in a completely different environment.
How Battlefield 6 could take its jet mission to new heights
Back in February, Battlefield 3Main designer, David Goldfarb, took to Twitter to give a little behind the scenes insight about “Go hunting.” Goldfarb stated that the developers originally wanted players to be able to free during the assignment, but that “it would not have been possible to make the assets and stay in quality.”
Battlefield 6 Have the opportunity to live up to this original condition. Battlefield 6The campaign should include an assignment where players get to heaven in a jet fighter, and boast as much cinematic atmosphere as “go hunting” while giving players full control over their vehicle. Fans longing for a return to the founded realism found in previous items that Battlefield 3And a new and improved jet mission could deliver that return to form.
