Games with the most character development

Summary

  • Some Resident Evil games prioritize games of character development, leading to different levels of growth.

  • Games such as “Darkness Chronicles” and “Resident Evil 5” significantly develop characters such as Leon and Chris.

  • “Resident Evil 6” may lack terror, but offers different character bows that deepen main characters such as Chris, Jake and Sherry.

While many of the most recognizable Resident evil Characters have developed and grown throughout the series, this can definitely be seen Moreso in some games than others. Simply put, Capcom doesn't always go all-in with its character development for each post, since many Resident evil Titles are more focused on giving a unique gaming experience rather than building on the characters.

Resident Evil: Every game that has a stalker enemy

Several Stalker enemies have been introduced throughout the Resident Evil series, all of which help increase the tension in the nuclear game.

However, it should not suggest that there have been no selected games that have seen such such as Leon, Chris, Claire and many others develop as humans because of their stories and platforms. While these titles can vary greatly in their overall quality and reputation, one thing they all have in common is that they push their characters to move forward in their own personal journeys, and these are these games that this list will focus on today.

Resident Evil: The Darkness Chronicles

Darkness Chronicles contains operation Javier; A very important mission for both Leon and Krauser

Darkside ChroniclesA spin-off on-race shooter game, has a total of four campaigns, but the one that is most important for the development of the characters is Operation Javier. This is a mission that sees Leon and his new companion Krauser who dare deep into the jungles in South America to seek a dangerous drug lord. This is Leon's very first assignment as a special agent, and that is a very meaningful step for the fan favorite, which gives players an insight into how he was before his rescue assignment in Resident Evil 4.

On the other hand, Operation Javier ends up entirely Krauser's mind. Since the soldier's arm was seriously injured in the assignment, which caused him to rely on Leon, he falls in love with the idea of gaining more power, which he realizes can be done by seeking Wesker and releasing the US government altogether. This leads nicely into the fourth game where the two meet one last time and do Darcide crown A crucial important entry to learn how the two came to this point.

Powerful

In all honesty, Leon doesn't feel like he is developing as a character so much in the original Resident Evil 4But this really does not apply to remake. At the beginning of the game, it has made it clear that Leon is still tormented by the horror from Raccoon City and is neglected with debt over all the people he failed to save. He therefore sees this new assignment as a way to compensate for this, and in his journey to save Ashley he continuously shoots himself to his limit, proves to players and himself how devoted he is to keep others safe.

Resident Evil: Any game that has a co-op campaign

These Resident Evil titles allow players to experience a whole new nightmare adventure with a friend by their side.

At the end of the remake, Leon's mind is easy to know that this time things turned out differently. It was a smart move for Capcom to dive deeper into Leon's mental state and personal trauma for this new recording, considering that it was always a bit scrubbing that he was so happy-lock in the original after all he had gone through.

Resident Evil 5

Chris learns to prioritize the mission over his personal feelings

When Chris first arrives at Kijuju at the beginning of Resident Evil 5Is it clear that he, together with his mission to snap out a black market dealer, also has something else in the thought; Jill. When the main mission becomes pear format, Chris becomes quite obsessed with finding Jill, so much that he almost lets Wesker get away when he saved her. At that moment, it is Jill who convinces him to look at the bigger picture and make him snap from his tunnel vision as he focuses on saving the world from destruction.

This game would also be important for Chris's development as it marked the end of his long -standing rivalry with Wesker. Being able to take out Wesker once and for all made Chris realize that he would always give everything if it meant to keep the planet safe, which he admits during the last moment of history.

Equitable

Fixed Revelations 2 Introduces a large number of new characters in the series, the two who get the most development are serial icons, Claire and Barry. For Claire, she will learn that she might not be as confidence in her terrace-allies as she once thought after it was revealed that Neil, a member of the anti-terror group, was a mole who willingly gave up his comrades to Alex Wesker.

Barry, who had not appeared in a Canon game since the very first, is commissioned to save his daughter Moira. Barry and Moira, however, have a rather rocky relationship, to say least, so much of his part of the story revolves around seeing him unite with his family, previously captured by Wesker in the first game.

Powerful

Leon and Claire start Resident Evil 2 Like a regular duo; One is a rookie police, and the other is a college student in search of his brother. However, everything changes when the two are thrown into the zombie-ridden raccoon city. During their struggle for survival, the two gradually develop as characters, where Leon became more concerned about bringing the perpetrators of the outbreak to justice, and Claire with a focus on protecting a young girl named Sherry.

Family

Resident Evil: 8 characters who hate Wesker most

Everyone in Resident Evil universe has their own views on Albert Wesker, and these characters despise the iconic antagonist.

The events in Raccoon City would leave a permanent scar on the two main characters. While Leon would be forced to join the US government as an agent, Claire would continue to invade an umbrella chop in an attempt to save Chris. Both characters become much more confident and aware of the danger that BioTerror presents to the world, which results in them getting lots of development during the nightmare journey.

Strong

When Jill, Chris and the rest of the Bravo team arrive at the Spencer Mansion, they all appear as a rather naive bunch that easily becomes haunted at the sight of a single zombie. This is understandable considering that these guys had not yet seen a zombie or bow up close and personal earlier, but the large amount of monsters they take on in the first game results in each of them becoming very different people in the end.

Jill, Chris, Rebecca and Barry are all transformed into grizzled veterans who go into their own escapades after this game to prevent the spread of arches and zombies over the rest of the planet. At the same time, Wesker is transformed into a superhuman after being “killed” by the tyrant, which puts him on his own personal journey. The very first game in the series sets the scene for everything in the future; Establishing the characters that fans would love for many years after.

Weak

It's no secret to Resident Evil 6 Isn't it the most loved game in this series, mainly because of how heavy it leaned into the action genre and ditched survival scare in the process. However, since it has four campaigns, each of the game's main characters gets more than enough time to go into their character arches that see them develop throughout the game.

For example, Chris begins as a disillusioned soldier whose constant battles have made him a shell of his former self. After a little convincing from bridges, Chris comes back to the senses, and on the road learns how destroying his desire for revenge can be, and how much damage it can cause them around him. Jake and Sherry also go through their own convincing arches and turn from crushing allies into what is implied to be romantic partners at the end. This is just to scrape the surface of how much character development is packed in this sharing post, which is why it is still worth playing despite its reputation.
