Marvel -Rivals allow players to see pick frequencies for all heroes in the game thanks to the hero's hot list, but it has some tricky details to think about.
How Marvel Rivals and Overwatch 2 handle ultimate lines unique
Marvel Rival and Overwatch 2's most complicated ultimate lines
With Marvel Rivals Still in season 1 and many of its players who are new to the herocoot genre, to keep track of which ultimate voting lines are friendly and which is from an enemy can be difficult. In particular, voting lines for characters such as Venom and Groot Potential to be confusing, as their wording does not differ much. Some players have criticized enemy's ultimate voting lines for not being distinct from allies enough, making them harder to distinguish.
Some of the most difficult to distinguish ultimate lines in Marvel Rivals are the following:
|
Hero |
Enemy voting line |
Ally voting line |
|
Coat and dagger |
“Us to the world!” |
“It's co-op time!” |
|
Dawn |
“We're Groot!” |
“I'm Groot!” |
|
Hawkeye |
“Woo! I never miss!” |
“Here's how you shoot!” |
|
Jeff the Land Shark |
“If, nom, nom!” |
“Yummy, yummy!” |
|
Mantis |
“We're undefeated!” |
“Friends, Gather around!” |
|
Noramor |
*Hornbrus* |
*Hornbrus* |
|
Peni Parker |
“It's spider time!” |
“Spindle mode!” |
|
Married |
“We're married!” |
“We hunger!” |
|
Wolverine |
* Humming* “rnngh, raaah!” |
“Berserker Rage!” |
Namor stands out in Marvel Rivals with its high profit frequency and the absence of any voting line under his ultimate. While his ultimate, Horn of Proteus, calls Giganto to deal with damage to enemies around the targeted site, the horn noise is quite short and can be lost in the mess in other sound effects. Comparable, Wolverine's enemy's ultimate line also lacks discernible words, but it feels reminiscent of some voting lines in Overwatch 2Like Winston's Primal Rage Ultimate, where he roars but does not necessarily say anything.
Although there are some variants of the lines that will play when in the game, especially if players are in the support role, some are similarly confusing ultimate lines in Overwatch 2 are the following:
|
Hero |
Enemy voting line |
Ally voting line |
|
Ash |
“Bob, do something!” |
“Come in there, Bob!” |
|
D.VA |
“Nerf this!” |
“Activate self -destruction sequence!” |
|
Judgment |
“Meteor Strike!” |
“Incoming!” |
|
Bastion |
“Whe-Whe-Whe-Wheee-Whe-Wheee!” |
“Whe-Whe-Whe-Wheee-Whe-Wheee!” |
|
EKO |
“Adaptive circles engaged: *Insert Hero *!” |
“Duplication: *Insert hero *” |
|
Drug queen |
“Time for the bill!” |
“Let's take them to the wilderness!” |
|
Bundle |
“Fire in the hole!” |
“My ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!” |
|
Reinhard |
“Hammer down!” |
“For the Crusaders!” |
|
Roadhog |
*Laugh* |
“Loosen scrap!” |
|
Stay |
“This ends now!” |
“It's time!” |
|
Winston |
*Rout* |
*Rout* |
|
Wreck ball |
* Screaming* “Area Denied!” |
“Mining field placed!” |
Marvel —rivals ultimate lines differ in a large way
It is worth noting that the ultimate voting lines in both games really shine when an enemy shouts, which means that their ultimate voice uses by screaming in their native language. To illustrate, when playing psylocke in Marvel Rivalsshe shouts “Cho no mai o kurae!” When you are focused on enemies and “see me hover!” when they help allies. Iron Fist is the only other character in the game that uses its native language for its ultimate and screams “Qi Guan Chang Hong!” Like an enemy and “The Dragon was released!” when on the team's side.
However Overclock Uses this tool with ultimate lines much more often, with heroes such as Hanzo, Genji, Mei, Mercy, Widowmaker and Zarya that illustrate this. Maybe in the future, Marvel Rivals Will take a page from Blizzard's book and create more differentiating dialogue for these critical moments. Further, in Overwatch 2Players can hear all the ultimate used, regardless of their position on the map. However Marvel Rivals Apparently, only ultimate voting lines for players who are close enough play the action.
