Pokemon attracts people back to some of their older Switch games, as well as Pokemon home before this year's Pokemon day by rewarding them with some very rare shinies to implement some pokedx. If you complete Sinnoh and Hisui Pokedexes in Pokemon Home you will now be rewarded with A blank manafi and A shiny enamelrespective.

Pokemon shared the news that this first time shiny and very rare shiny will be given to trainers who are talented and determined enough to complete each of the pokedx mentioned above via their Japanese Twitter account (thank you, VGC). When it comes to why these two shiny Pokémon, in particular, are remarkable, one of them is brand new, and the other, while they were technically made available before, was extremely difficult to get.

Although Pokemon has not specifically said that this is a way to get people back to playing their games at Switch, it seems likely that this is the reason to do this. We already know Pokemon Legends: ZA is coming this year and is likely to get a bigger reveal during this year's Pokemon gifts, so getting people back to Arceus makes sense.
