Genshin Impact has released a teaser for Citlali, which highlights her personal struggle with immortality. Although the Natlan era has only reached the halfway mark, fan favorites have already established themselves in the Genshin Impact community. While Mavuika's popularity was assured, Citlali's rise to stardom came as a complete surprise. Although she made her first appearance during the Ignition teaser for Natlan, Citlali won the hearts of Genshin Impact players in version 5.1 during Archon Quest.

Part of Citlali's appeal is her irrepressible, larger-than-life personality. She is both a legendary shaman of Mictlan and a reader of Inazuman's light novels. Fixed Genshin ImpactCitlali may not be the most polite person in Natlan, and at times her dynamic with Ororon can border on abuse, Grandma Itzli has a big heart, a strong liver, and she cares deeply for the people in her life. A recent Genshin Impact leak reveals that a popular 5-star character from Fontaine may be getting a reprise on Event Banners in version 5.4.

To give players a taste of her character, Genshin Impact has released a story teaser featuring Citlali. Her love of snacks, alcohol and light novels is highlighted as part of her daily routine, but the main theme explored in the video is immortality and the passage of time. As a skilled shaman, Citlali's lifespan is significantly longer than ordinary people in Natlan. Understandably, this comes with a major downside: Citlali will outlive the people she cares about. While Furina and Capitano are inside Genshin Impact are other examples of characters suffering from immortality, Citlali's journey is explored through her connections with others.

Then Natlan in Genshin Impact dealing with the theme of resurrection, Citlali resurrects her friend, in a way, by restoring the graffiti and keeping her in her memory.

Given the nature of teasers, Genshin Impact players can likely expect Citlali's Tribal Chronicle to explore these themes further. In terms of her gameplay, Citlali should be a huge boon to most Pyro hypercarries, as she provides a significant buff to Melt damage, reduces Pyro resistance, and provides a Cryo Shield. She is set to join Mavuika on event banners for Genshin Impact Version 5.3 and will be available for players to draw until January 21, 2025.
