Where to find all the forest shrines that offer crystals

Each biome i Luma Island has a mysterious shrine that can only be unlocked when you find the corresponding crystals, and depending on the biome, you may need to find up to 11 crystals to get the rewards inside.

While it may take some time to collect these crystals, it's worth it as the shrine contains a Luma Egg and other rare rewards that you'll want to get your hands on. The Forest Shrine requires eight crystals to open, and here you can find them all.

Forest offers Crystal 1 Location

The first forest to offer crystal i Luma Island can be found quite close to the entrance to the Forest. Once inside, follow the path forward until you cross one small stone bridge — you should see the Crystal below it, but with no way to reach it right now.

Cross the bridge and turn right at the pond until you see Mushroom Man's shopbut instead of following the path all the way down towards him, look for a small gap that will allow you to navigate around the cliff. Follow the path and you will find the Crystal at the end of it.

Forest offers Crystal 2 Mode

From the mushroom man's shop, follow the path deeper into the forest until you reach the river that runs through it. To find the second crystal, turn north and look for one little hole you can go through among the rocks next to the cave.

The hole will be hidden by various bushes and trees, so this can be a bit difficult to spot. But once you get it, you'll find the Sacrifice Crystal hidden inside along the cliff.

Forest offers Crystal 3 Location

To get to the third sacrificial crystal, you must navigate to the other side of the river in the forest. If it's your first time entering the forest, the way there won't be easy. From where you found the second crystal, go inside cave nearby. You can walk through this cave without torches, but there are some dark spots, so it's better to bring some with you just in case. Once you get through, you'll find yourself on the other side of the river.

Navigate around the pond and follow the path south until you see one color puzzle to the right of the path hidden among some trees. Continue along the path as the color puzzle is for a short while making sure you hug the tree wall to the east tightly. When you can turn east (left, if you're coming from the color puzzle), do so, and you should see the Sacrifice Crystal waiting on a small hill in front of a broken ladder. You need 3 Forest Wood and 5 Reeds to fix the ladder, and you will get your hands on the Crystal.

Forest offers Crystal 4 Location

Continue south from where you found the last sacrificial crystal until you see a blue crystal on top of a pillar behind a small hill. You must go around this hill further south to reach the next Sacrifice Crystal. You may have to cut down some trees to get around it at first.

Once you're on the other side of the hill, look for one small road which takes you under the pillar with the blue crystal and around the other side of the hill you just circled. By following this path, you will eventually reach the Offering Crystal, which sits on its own hill next to a waterfall.

Forest offers Crystal 5 Location

The next offering crystal can also be found in this area where the last two are. Navigate back on the path you followed to find the fourth crystal and backtrack slightly around the hill you came from. But instead of going all the way back, turn east and navigate through the trees until you see one small camp you can build up to rest.

Go through the camp and continue following the path around the ruins nearby, and you'll see the Sacrifice Crystal embedded at bottom of the cliff behind the ruins.

Forest offers Crystal 6 Location

You will need to backtrack all the way back to the fast travel point in the forest to find the next crystal. From the fast travel point, go north and hug the east wall. You will eventually come to some rocks that you need to break, and you will find the offering crystal hidden behind them under a small arch.

It's a similar type of hidden area to the one where the other crystal was located, so you won't be able to see it by just walking around.

Forest offers Crystal 7 Location

To find this crystal, go to the fast travel point in the Forest and follow the path north. Pass the ancient temple on this path and continue until you reach another makeshift camp. You should be able to see the Crystal over the small pond next to the camp – but with no obvious way to reach it.

To get the crystal, circle the pond to the other side and head towards the edge of the cliff. When you get there, take an immediate left and follow the path around the cliff. This will lead you around and directly to the sacrificial crystal.

Forest offers Crystal 8 Mode

The last sacrificial crystal is much deeper into the forest that you need cross the mud river, which is near the fast travel point. To cross it, just make sure to reach the various stepping stones and wooden planks in the river in time so you don't drown in it.

Once you've reached the other side, navigate around the pedestal where you'll eventually insert the sacrificial crystals and follow the right fork around the various mushrooms and plants that try to attack you. Continue following the path until you reach a blue crystal on top of a pillarthen look for a small cluster of trees in the middle of the area.

If you know where to find the ancient temple here, the trees are right behind it.

Now is the time to chop, because Crystal is hidden between the trees. Chop down as many as you need, and you'll soon see the green glow of the Crystal ripe for the taking. Once you get the last crystal, you'll be able to open the shrine in the forest and get another Luma Egg, along with a bunch of other rewards that can be hard to find in Luma Island.
