WWE 2K24 Content Creator Designed Bianca Belair's Survivor Series gear

Important takeaways

  • Bianca Belair's outfit at Sunday's WWE Survivor Series event was designed by a WWE 2K24 fan.
  • Through an in-game competition with real consequences, Phil Ouimette's design was brought to life for the WWE Superstar.
  • Not only was his gear transformed into real wardrobe, but Ouimette also got to meet Belair backstage after the event.

One of the most important parts of a professional wrestler is their appearance. While their moveset is also pretty important, a distinct look that fans will be able to remember and that will stand out each week is key. It's why John Cena is just as, if not more, famous for his denim shorts, or why The Undertaker's trench coat and hat are so well remembered.

That said, one WWE fan got the experience of a lifetime when their WWE 2K24 custom outfit for former WWE Women's Champion Bianca Belair was transformed into real-life attire for Saturday's Survivor Series Premium Live Event.

EST by WWE 2K24 Creators being recognized

As revealed during Saturday's live stream, Belair's outfit was designed by superfan Phil Ouimette. Ouimette, who also has a YouTube channel, created the outfit in WWE 2K24's creation suite, only to have it become an actual wardrobe via a contest.

Here's what Belair's outfit looked like in real life, complete with her fan-favorite entrance:

And this is how it looked via 2K24's creation pack:

It's a 1:1 creation, and the extra shoulder gear is even part of it. Of course, no tribute is complete without an official meet and greet, and Ouimette got to meet Belair backstage with her wearing the gear he designed in a video game.

It's important to note that Ouimette's experience came as a result of him winning a WWE-sponsored design contest for Belair-specific gear in 2K24. That said, considering the sheer amount of content included in the creation pack, along with the number of entries, it's a pretty big win.

Surprisingly, it is one of the first times a competition like this has been held. WWE players have long been creating custom gear since the early PlayStation 2 days, so it's pretty neat to see a competition created for these creations. Perhaps more wrestlers will participate in the future, giving players more opportunities to bring their creations to life.
