Motorsport Games has announced that all 10 of its NASCAR games will be removed at the end of the year. This gives players limited time to get theirs NASCAR titles on all available platforms, with many available at a discount until they are removed.

Motorsport Games has been the developer and publisher of NASCAR game since 2018, when it received the license. In the years since, it's admittedly been a mixed bag of quality. The studio hasn't been free of controversy either – last year a Motorsport Games employee threatened to leak source code over a salary dispute, which was a dramatic turn of events. That said, it hasn't all been doom and gloom – NASCAR Heat 5the latest main entry in the series, currently has “Very Positive” reviews on Steam, so it's clear that the company is capable of putting out a solid NASCAR product.

Fans are intrigued by a new teaser from Fortnite about a potential NASCAR collaboration coinciding with the upcoming Globals tournament.

In a statement at X, Motorsport Games confirmed that all its NASCAR games and their DLC will be removed after December 31, 2024. Players can still purchase the games until then, and will still be able to play them after this date as long as they have them on their account. It appears that this will affect a total of 10 games across the board HEAT, Rivalsand Ignition subseries. However, it is not clear if this will affect things like the last time Forza Motorsport NASCAR cooperation. The same can be said about NASCAR Arcade Rushthe 2023 title in which Motorsport Games was not involved.

Many of the games in the NASCAR series can currently be found at a discount, with Motorsport Games promising “cross-platform promotions this December to complement your NASCAR console game collection while you can.” This will give players the chance to pick up the best NASCAR games at a bargain price before they're gone for good. Current highlights include NASCAR Heat 5 is available for $3.74 on Steam, while NASCAR 21: Ignition can also be found on the platform for just $1.79.
