Xbox has made three games completely free to download and play for the weekend, with each game available until August 2nd and only one requiring any kind of Xbox Game Pass subscription. Xbox's Free Play Days promotion is a little underrated, as it often lets players check out games for free and pick them up cheap if they decide they like them. Xbox Free Play Days done GTA online available to everyone recently after all.
The easiest way to claim these Xbox games is through an Xbox console (although links to the Xbox Store are provided below for convenience). To do so, Xbox owners navigate to the Xbox Store, click on the Subscriptions tab, and scroll down to the Free Play Days collection.
Xbox Free Play Days List (July 30-August 2)
The Xbox Free Play Days games for July 30 to August 2 are WWE 2K26 and Wildgatewhich are available to all, and Polterguys: Possession Partywhich requires some form of Xbox Game Pass. Each game is available until the end of this free play promotion (which is not always the case). Discounts are also available throughout the campaign, should anyone wish to purchase and keep these games. Polterguys: Possession Party
Bachelorettes is a chaotic multiplayer party game where up to four mischievous ghosts fight to survive while a deadly monster hunts them all. Matches are built around physics-driven levels filled with traps, power-ups, and everyday items that players can possess to fight back, escape danger, or sabotage their friends at the perfect moment. In addition to local and online multiplayer, the game features 10 maps, unlockable costumes, daily and weekly challenges, global leaderboards, and a customizable Haunt filled with cosmetic rewards, making it an easy co-op game on Xbox to recommend and play with friends this week.

WWE 2K26, featuring the beloved CM Punk on the key art, gives wrestling fans a chance to jump into the latest entry in the long-running series at no additional cost. It's hard to imagine Xbox Free Play Days not working with WWE on this giveaway, given that SummerSlam also takes place August 1-2. It's the perfect addition to the event, allowing fans to check out CM Punk's Showcase, new MyRise storylines, new match types, and all available game modes such as MyGM, MyFaction, and The Island.

Wildgate
Last but certainly not least, Wildgate is a fun PvEvP multiplayer shooter on Xbox that offers a different approach to space combat. Crews compete in multiple modes, whether it's racing to steal a powerful artifact, fighting in large-scale Fleet Battles with up to 24 players, or picking up treasure before making a daring escape. Each match takes place across a procedurally generated galaxy filled with cosmic storms, alien ruins and dangerous creatures, while players must keep their ship fueled, armed and repaired as they sabotage rival crews and fight to bring home the loot. In other words, there's a lot going on at once, but that's what makes Wildgate so much fun.
