Pokémon Krispy Kreme donuts may finally be coming to the US, according to a new leak. The collaboration is one that has been held a number of times before, but fans in the US haven't been given a chance Pokémon donuts.
2026 has been a big year for Pokémonas it marks the 30th anniversary of the franchise and the 10th anniversary of Pokémon GOwhich made a huge impact when it was first released. Like other games experiencing big anniversaries this year, Pokémon has celebrated with a number of events, giveaways, game reveals and of course merchandise. Now, 10 years after the collaboration first started, it looks like it's finally coming to the US.
Pokemon Krispy Kreme Donuts finally revealed for the US
A new leak indicates that Krispy Kreme is finally bringing its popular Pokémon monks to the United States. The leak comes via Snackolator, who shared that they had been privy to a new collection of Pokémon Krispy Kremes that will be sold in supermarkets. Snackolator also shared a photo revealing a six-pack of Krispy Kreme donuts included Pokémon-Themed packaging and donut designs. The box includes designs based on Pikachu, Charmander and Jigglypuff, plus a Poke Ball. Judging by the shapes, it looks like Pikachu and Charmander might be stuffed donuts, as they seem to lack holes, while the other four are traditional. The donuts contain decorative pieces of Pikachu, Charmander and Jigglypuff on top, but it's not clear if that part is edible or not.

Snackolator claims the donuts could arrive as early as late July, but isn't 100% sure on the release date yet. Pricing, participating retail chains and locations have not been shared for the items. Fans will likely be able to find them in grocery stores where Krispy Kreme donuts can usually be purchased, but the two companies will no doubt share more information when they're ready for release.
Although Krispy Kreme is a US-based company, this is the first time as a collaboration between Pokémon and Krispy Kreme have been offered in the country. The collaborations began a decade ago in South Korea and in the years since have been offered in various locations around the world, including Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines. It's not clear why the collaboration has never been offered in the US, even though it isn't in Japan, the home country of Pokémonis likely due to The Pokemon Company regularly partnering with the Japanese chain Mister Donut instead.
As with any Pokémon deals, fans should be aware that there will likely be high demand for these items in stores. Although it's usually merchandise, collectibles and the like Pokémon cards that draw the biggest hordes of customers, grocery deals are not immune. Things like Pokémon cereals, Pokémon Oreos, and even Pokémon Hershey's Kisses have faced significant shortages due to high demand. Then Pokémon donuts won't be edible for long, but there might not be as much of a retailer crush as usual. Still, fans who hope to secure Pokémon Krispy Kreme donuts should be sure to look for an official reveal in the coming days or weeks.
