Sugar is made by combining sugar canes with a mill. Below we show you the process you need to complete to make sugar with ease.
How to Grow Sugar Bones
Sugar comes from the sugarcane plants, which you can either harvest from the wild in the wild Surfacing marshes or plant in your farm after buying seeds from Luna. They only grow during spring and summer!
It will take 5 days for it to be harvestable, but each plant produces three sugar bones. When you plant the seeds in an excavated plot (made with a shovel), make sure you water them every day to make sure they continue to grow.
How to get the mill
Visit Ridge at the Howling Hammer and he can build you a mill for 8,000 coins. To get The number of coins you need can be challenging, but there are a few ways to make coins fast. It takes Ridge two days to build the mill once you've decided where to place it on the farm!
How to use the mill to make sugar
Once the mill is ready, you can interact with it like any other station and choose your Sugarbone plant to spawn Sugar (1 sugar cube = 2 sugar). When the processing time is up, you collect the sugar from the mill, and you are free to use it for recipes, give it away, or sell it!
