Jinwoo's Pre-Awakened Form qualified him for the system
Sung Jinwoo's preborn form is his weakest and most vulnerable version. He ranks at the bottom of the hunter hierarchy, unable to overcome low-level dungeon monsters without risking his life. On dungeon raids, he relies mostly on his party members, especially healers like Lee Joohee, who make sure he gets out of the dungeon alive.
Surprisingly, Jinwoo's preborn form impressed Ashborn, the original Shadow Monarch who chose Jinwoo as his human vessel. With Jinwoo's ability to survive death multiple times in addition to his quick thinking during the double dungeon incident, the awakened Jinwoo completed the prerequisites for the system to activate and accept him as its only player.

Jinwoo's level 18 awakened form changed his appearance
At level 18, Sung Jinwoo's Awakened form was unrecognizable. His efforts to complete the system's daily missions drastically changed his entire body, from a noticeable increase in height to the muscles he had to exercise. It's no wonder that even Jinwoo's sister couldn't resist asking why her brother looks so different.
At this point, it had become easier for Jinwoo to complete the system's daily tasks to such an extent that he wondered what his body would look like if he didn't stop accumulating stat points. Most importantly, reaching level 18 made C-rank dungeons a routine challenge for Jinwoo, and even dangerous hunters between the D and C ranks struggled to match him.

Jinwoo's incomplete Shadow Monarch Form turned him into a one-man army
Sung Jinwoo unlocked his Incomplete Shadow Monarch form while going through the system's job change mission in Season 1. Shortly after winning against Blood-Red Commander Igris and the hooded mages, the system forced Jinwoo to accept the Necromancer job class, which later evolved into the Shadow Lord class or Shadow Lord Monarch.
This transformation was a game changer, as Jinwoo officially learned the Shadow Extraction skill exclusive to the Shadow Monarch's use. Jinwoo's Incomplete Shadow Monarch form may not be as powerful compared to his true form, but it is more than enough to push him on par with the strongest S-rank hunters in Korea.

Jinwoo's S-Rank form attracted every major hunter guild
Sung Jinwoo officially becomes the 10th S-ranked hunter from Korea after defeating the A-rank dungeon boss, Kargalgan, in Season 2. At this point, Jinwoo could effortlessly clear an A-rank dungeon by himself. His shadow army had also grown in power and numbers, with Tusk, Iron and Tank being the strongest soldiers.
During the retest arc, the mana reading machine of the Korean Hunters Association was unable to specify Sung Jinwoo's mana score, leading to him being recognized as Korea's newest S-rank. With this recognition, the top guilds in Korea, including the Hunters Guild and the White Tiger Guild, spared no effort to recruit Jinwoo.

Jinwoo's Black Heart Form brought him closer to Deity
The Black Heart is one of the most powerful upgrades that Sung Jinwoo will unlock in later installments Solo Levelingprobably in Beyond the system Film. With Black Heart, some of Jinwoo's limitations have already been removed, from the recurring problems he has with his low mana reserves to the restrictions of the system.
Also, Jinwoo's Black Heart Form is closest to his True Shadow Monarch Form. He was literally given a second heart by Ashborn, making him one step closer to having access to his full power. But this powerful form slowly strips away Jinwoo's humanity in exchange for great power.

Jinwoo's True Shadow Monarch Form is almost unbeatable
Sung Jinwoo's True Shadow Monarch transformation officially makes him a higher being with an almost immortal body in Solo Leveling. At this stage, Jinwoo no longer needs the system to guide his development, allowing him to tap into his full power with ease. This means that his mana reserves are almost unlimited, and the elite shadows in his army, such as Igris, also regain their full power.
Also, Sung Jinwoo's True Shadow Monarch form is a nightmare for his other monarchs, especially Rakan and Sillad. They fear the Shadow Monarch's true form the most, as the power gap between them and Sung Jinwoo has become insurmountable. At this point, only the Monarch of Destruction has the potential to defeat Sung Jinwoo.

Sung Jinwoo's Black Armored form debuted in the final war arc of Solo Levelingduring which he confronts the Monarch of Destruction once and for all. This black-armored form literally envelops Sung Jinwoo's body in shadow, increasing his adaptability and durability to Antares' attacks.
That's not all, as the Black Armored Jinwoo fights even more effectively, with his attacks dealing more damage to the Monarch of Destruction's Dragon Form. Only after Jinwoo learned the Umbrakinesis skill did he utilize his Black Armored form, a powerful transformation that proved crucial in defeating the Monarch of Destruction.

Sung Jinwoo's 27-year-old warrior form is an absolute fan favorite, as he looks like a full-fledged God of Shadows or God of Darkness. His body is covered in jet black armor, while his once short hair grows into long, flowing black locks. In a nutshell, Jinwoo's 27-year-old form makes him look like an Absolute Being.
Speaking of divine entities, Sung Jinwoo, in this state, is already the strongest among monarchs. He spent 27 years fighting every monarch and their army, to ensure that no threat would come upon his family and friends in the current timeline. During these years, Jinwoo never lost a single battle.
