While everything is inside College Football 27 trying to be a 1:1 recreation of the real world, a fun arcade game mode that The Mascot Mashup can be quite refreshing. The only difference between the teams in the Mascot Mashup is the mascot design. Each team enters with 11 mascots, all rated at 99. It's the ultimate mayhem, and only skill decides the winner of the match.
Mascot Mashup has its own development path. The game lets you have access to 10 mascots at the beginning, and you will have to unlock the rest of them one by one, which we will explain below.
To unlock each mascot, you must win a match against the CPU with the corresponding team in Play Now mode. That's all you need to unlock every mascot in the game, and CPU difficulty doesn't matter. You can achieve all your wins on the lowest difficulty and still get the mascot version of the winning team.
Just remember that you have to win the match yourself. You cannot simulate a match. This is just a way to make sure you've done something to get the mascot instead of simulating over 100 matches.
Once a new mascot is unlocked, you can either check it out on the Mascot Mashup's team selection screen or head to your trophy room. As mentioned earlier, the following teams (10 in total) already have their mascots unlocked by default:

An easier way to unlock your favorite mascot is to select it in the Mascot Mashup's team selection menu and then tap “Earn by Playing Now”. This will immediately take you to the Play Now menu and select the corresponding team for you.
If you subscribe to MVP+ membership, you should have all mascots unlocked by default, with no grinding required. This is an exclusive bonus to this subscription plan that even MVP Bundle Edition owners will not have access to.
It's also worth noting that there are no in-game purchases to be made regarding mascots in Mascot Mashup. This means that there are no microtransactions related to these characters, so you have to earn them yourself, especially since the MVP+ membership is also not available for purchase at any time.
