One thing Disney Lorcan going big with each new set are promo cards. These limited-time cards are often tied to in-store events or even visits to a Disney park somewhere around the world. This can increase their value if you happen to get your hands on them, but they're also just great collectibles if you want to complete a true master set of cards for a specific set.
For Attack of the Vine, there are at least 14 new campaign cards that we're aware of so far, with the potential for more to appear during the set's launch window. So if you want to know which promo cards you need to find, we've got the whole breakdown in one handy place.
There are six unique prerelease box promotions to collect for Attack of the Vine. You only get one in each prerelease box, and it's completely random, so collecting all six is best done by buying singles. Assuming you're okay with waiting a few weeks after launch, you can sometimes buy promo cards for under $10.
The six promotional cards for Attack of the Vine are:
- Buzz Lightyear, providing cover
- Merlin, Envisioning the Future
- Boo, energetic child
- Maximus, merciless stallion
- Vixey, Expert Fisher
- Pocahontas, Guiding the Tribe
There is a chance that some cards will hold value or even grow over time, but that is entirely dependent on whether the card sees heavy play after the release of the set. Right now, the Wilds Unknown promo cards range anywhere from $6 to $35 in value, with Ariel, Curious Traveler being the most expensive of the lot.

Disney Lorcana: Biggest Chase Cards In Attack Of The Vine
From set enchanted to fan-favorite chases, these are some of the cards everyone will be looking for in the new Disney Lorcana set, Attack of the Vine.
Next up is the Magical Places promotion, a card that can only be obtained by participating in a prerelease at select Disney locations. This usually refers to Disney parks, and these cards are often given out to those waiting in line to pick up their prerelease boxes at a Disney park.
All promotional cards are just variants of actual cards from Attack of the Vine, and are therefore legal to play with.
The Magical Places campaign for Attack of the Vine is Maleficent, Exultant Spellcaster. Maleficent is an ink card that enters play with two Strengths and two Willpowers and can search for a lore point. Unfortunately, that's all there is to Maleficent, as she has no additional abilities.
A fairly easy promotion to get each season is the Seasonal Promo. For Attack of the Vine, it's Sulley, The New Boss.
To get this card, you only need to participate in an event at an official Ravensburger Play store.
Sulley is a five-ink card that enters the game with four Strengths and four Willpowers. It also has the Bodyguard ability, meaning it can come into play wielded, and an opponent challenging one of your characters must choose one with Bodyguard if possible. He also has Rehire, an ability that allows you to return a character card from your discarded hand when the character is played.
There are four Organized Play (OP) campaign cards to be found during Attack of the Vine. The first is the buy-a-box promotion, Tigger, Hunny Barbarian, which can be cashed in to buy an entire booster box. Tigger is a fairly stacked card, costing four ink to put into play, and he enters with five Strength and four Willpower. He also has Reckless, which means he can't quest and must challenge every turn if possible. Finally, Tigger has protection charge, which means that once during your turn, when he challenges another character, you can equip any Hunny character, even if, by default, it can't search for the rest of the turn.
By preparing a character from a strained state, you can challenge it again.
The three remaining OP promotional cards are the Weekly Play promotions, again earned by participating in game events at official Ravensburger Play stores while the card is live. The Weekly Play promotions are:
- Morph, Little Imitator
- Randall Boggs, frighteningly smart
- Meilin Lee, lead singer
The Set Championship promotional cards will return, and the base card can be earned just for entering and participating in the Attack of the Vine Set Championship. If you qualify for the top eight at an event, you earn the foil version of the card.
A Mike and Sulley playmat can also be earned through Set Championships.
Rapunzel, Escaping the Tower is the Set Championship campaign for Attack of the Vine. This card costs only one ink to cast and enters play with two Strengths and one Willpower. Each turn you can discard a card to add another lore point to Rapunzel and grant her Evasive until the end of the turn. This ability prevents her from being challenged by characters without the dodge ability.
