With so much going for it, new projects continue to line up, including a new video game known as Solo Leveling: Karma. Solo Leveling Karma will officially arrive in 2026, and as a promotion, the series will officially receive a short manga release known as “Moments in Between”.

Solo Leveling by Chugong ran as a web novel between July 25, 2016 and March 13, 2018. With so much hype behind it, this series went on to be adapted into a manhwa by Redice Studio and turned into the world's most successful manhwa of all time, serialized in South Korea from March 4, 2021, to December 2, 2029. It caught on so much that on January 7, 2024, Aniplex released and A-1 Pictures finally the first season of the TV anime Solo Leveling.
The success of this franchise is hard to ignore, and due to its spectacular run with seasons 1 and 2, it even received video game adaptations. On July 5, 2025, Solo Leveling's biggest video game to date was announced in the form of Solo Leveling: Karma. This video game from Netmarble Studio is coming sometime in 2026, and it will be released on PC, iOS and Android. Huge announcements are expected for this new project, and Solo Leveling has found the perfect way to popularize it among fans. On June 18, 2026, the official Solo Leveling Karma account revealed that a new manga is being planned specifically for the game.
This short manga has an unknown release date, but it will be released sometime in the coming weeks and months, as the official post notes that it is scheduled for release soon. Fans should stay tuned for updates on this new manga. Currently, we don't know who is writing the story of Solo Leveling: Karma's short manga, but an illustration featuring Jinwoo and his shadows posted by the official account was credited to @1228cjrb on X. As is the case with Solo Leveling: Karma itself, this short manga should be considered non-canon, given that it doesn't show the story, without having created Chu.

For now, all we can say is based on the official's single post Solo Leveling Karma account is that it will be tied to the game. Moments in Between will be set in the world of Solo Leveling: Karma and will specifically focus on short stories between Sung Jinwoo and his Shadows.
The art included in the post seems to indicate that this short manga will have a chibi art style, hinting at light-hearted stories, despite the dark nature of the Karma game where Jinwoo battles monarchs after turning back time in what is known as the 27-year Monarch War.

Solo Leveling Karma Excites Explodes As Game Release Date Approaches
Solo Leveling already has video games out, especially, Solo Leveling: Ariseand Solo Leveling Arise OVERDRIVE. Those games were released in 2024 and 2025 respectively, but they could pale in comparison to Solo Leveling: Karma. The scale that Karma has promised to tackle is much bigger, and it will be the biggest game yet for the IP. On top of that, exploring the 27-year-old monarch means diving deep into a lot of lore that had been left uncovered for 8 years in the original story. Because of all this, we are all very excited especially after seeing the amazing game via some teasers.
While we know the game is coming in 2026, we still don't have an exact release date. But with each passing day we get closer to the grand release of Solo Leveling: Karmaand it just might be the single biggest project for the IP this year due to the anime being on hiatus.
