You and your four new allies must find each of the remaining focus stones scattered across the colony in Gothic 1 Remake. These missions will take you through dangerous places and you will face powerful enemies, so be prepared!
The first focus stone to find is the one closest to the meeting point where this quest starts, so head north when you're ready and travel to the monastery ruins. Here is everything you need to know about finding the Focus Stone in the old monastery.
Focus stone in the monastery ruins walkthrough
After talking to Diego at the old tower you get a map showing where each of the towers is Focus stones. The closest one, other than the one you already got from Swamp Camp, is on Monastery ruins.
Head northcross a rope bridge and follow the path around to the right. Gorn waiting at the stone bridge above. Talk to him and then follow him down to the ravine. He will take you into a room within the cliff where you have to fight some Snappers.
Inside the room is one breast; loot it to find another spell turns into a flesh bug. This is important reading, so take it with you!
You can also cast a Transform Into A Meatbug spell at any lectern.
Exit and back up to the monastery ruins, fighting Snappers along the way. You find the gates are lockedand you have to find another way in. This is where the fleshless spell comes in.
Equip your Turn into a meatball spell and activate it. Now you can crawl through the hole in the wall to the left of the gate. The Snappers inside won't bother you if you're a Meatbug, so crawl up to the yard.
When you reach the gate, transform back into a man and defeat anyone nearby Snappers before opening the gate. You and Gorn must now deal with the snappers before you can search for the focus stone.
Equip Light spell allowing you to see in dark areas while fighting creatures.
Gorn is waiting in the yard as you search for the stone. As you face the yard from the gate, head to the back right cornerinto the room on the right. This room will lead you to the cliff and into a space where you have to climb the rocky step and onto a wooden platform.
From there, go through and into the ruins, turn right and continue to the end and into the cave on the left. Every time you enter another open space there will be one Snapperso be prepared.
Save often and heal up after each encounter.
Go through the right tunnel to find things to loot, then back and through the left tunnel to move on. You will eventually come to a room with one Shadowbeast.
After defeating the Shadowbeast, you can take the focus stone and go through the small door to the left of where you entered.
When you come out, Gorn is waiting in the yard. A Youth Troll will appear and your boss battle will begin. You can't leave the Gorn to take out the troll alone, but what you can do is hit it from behind while it's distracted by the Gorn attacking from the front.
Used Teleport stone given to you by the water mages to return to New Camp and speak with Saturas. Give him the focus stone, and this will complete the quest. You get 3500 EXP.
