WWE 2K26 teases new version of Classic Wrestler

WWE 2K26 officially adds a brand new version of one of the wrestling promotion's most iconic female wrestlers, introducing a Trish Stratus variant from her debut year. The new addition to WWE 2K26 calls back to Stratus' first appearance in a WWE ring.

The latest entry in Visual Concepts and 2K's annual wrestling franchise features several callbacks to WWE history. The game's wide selection of WWE Superstars includes plenty of the promotion's most recognizable names in its roster, packed with stars like Hulk Hogan, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and John Cena. Many of the wrestlers who appear in WWE 2K26 has taken on different looks from throughout his career, such as Hollywood Hogan from his time with the NWO and all three of Mick Foley's various characters. Now, one of WWE's most iconic female performers is getting a new variation in a future update.

Trish Stratus '00 is coming to WWE 2K26

WWE 2K26 officially revealed a brand new version of Trish Stratus on the game's social media accounts. The new Trish Stratus is based on her appearance in her WWE debut in 2000, when she wore a snakeskin dress similar to what she wore for her in-ring debut alongside Test and Prince Albert against The Hardy Boyz and Lita. Stratus is said to have chosen the outfit for his new one WWE 2K26 variant herself, who wants to use an outfit that “represents the beginning of her WWE journey.” The official announcement does not confirm when the new version of Trish Stratus will be available, although it may be included with WWE 2K26the next Ringside Pass, launching in July.

The classic throwback to Trish Stratus' debut celebrates the career of one of WWE's most famous Superstars. Trish Stratus is often seen among the greatest female wrestlers in WWE history, with many modern female wrestlers citing her as a major inspiration. Stratus holds the record for most WWE Women's Championship reigns of all time, winning the title seven times over a five-year span from 2001 to 2006. Stratus also has the longest WWE Women's Championship reign of any wrestler since 2000, holding the title for 4,448 days from January 2000-5200 to April 2000-5200.

Stratus joins several other female legends listed for WWE 2K26. One of Trish Stratus' biggest rivals from her early days in the ring makes an appearance in 2K26with Lita available as a playable character in the base game. Visual Concepts and 2K have also frequently added other female wrestlers to the game as downloadable content. Ringside Pass Season 3 added Torrie Wilson to the game, while the 1997 version of legendary superstar Chyna is available as part of WWE 2K26s Attitude Era edition.

Trish Stratus is far from the only major addition planned for WWE 2K26s list in the coming months. The launch of Ringside Pass Season 4 in July will add the aforementioned Matt and Jeff Hardy, musician Jelly Roll and Lady Shani to the roster. Later updates to the Ringside Pass will also include a number of iconic modern day WWE Superstars, such as Danhausen appearing in Season 5 and Royce Keys in Season 6. WWE 2K26 continues to add new wrestlers to the game with each new Ringside Pass, giving fans plenty of reason to keep an eye on the new seasons.
