Xbox Game Pass users now have access to three more Day-1 titles, including sci-fi adventures Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions. With these arrivals, Xbox Game Pass has officially surpassed 100 games added in 2026.
Microsoft's subscription service was last extended on June 9, then Persona 5 Royal rejoined Xbox Game Pass. It was the 98th addition to the company's catalog since the start of 2026, meaning the milestone of its 100th game of the year is technically split between two releases.

After an unexpected delay, Microsoft is formally revealing the Xbox Game Pass Wave 1 lineup for June 2026, which includes nine titles.
Xbox Game Pass adds Beastro, Starseeker and more
On June 11, the popular subscription service added three day one games: cooking roguelit Beastlyco-op puzzle platformer Frog Squadand sci-fi sandbox Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions. Beastly arrived at 11 a.m. ET, while Star finder and Frog Squad launched on Xbox Game Pass two hours later. That makes the latter two titles the 100th and 101st XGP catalogs of 2026.

In 2025, Xbox Game Pass only managed to reach 100 games added on August 14th. In other words, the service has added new titles at a 33% faster rate since the start of 2026. In comparison, Xbox Game Pass added 216 new titles over the course of 2025, but that number increased by 4 times, 8 in October. Ubisoft+ Classics – hit the service on the same day, along with a controversial (and now partially reversed) price increase. This year, Xbox Game Pass is on track to surpass 200 catalog additions without such gimmicks.

That's one day after the service lost five titles: Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game, Jurassic World Evolution 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revengeand Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine: Master Crafted Edition.
