Classic Toy Story games are being remastered for modern consoles

Atari and Digital Eclipse have announced Toy Story: Retro Roundup and Toy Story 3: Complete Editionwhich will be released on modern platforms later this year. The original Toy Story debuted in theaters in 1995, and the film was accompanied by video game adaptations on multiple platforms. In the decades since, Toy Story characters have appeared in multiple games, while appearing in games alongside other Disney and Pixar properties, such as Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Toy Story: Retro Roundup is an upcoming collection of 11 legacy games, including adaptations of the first two films, as well as Buzz Lightyear from Star Commandand Toy Story Racer. Oddly enough, the collection will also include An insect's life. The Toy Story 2 the game has many passionate fans, and the collection can introduce it to a new generation of players. In addition to faithful versions of these games, interviews and behind-the-scenes material will be included. Toy Story 3: Complete Edition was also announced and will offer a remaster of the 2010 game from Avalanche Software. Both Toy Story: Retro Roundup and Toy Story 3: Complete Edition will be released on October 15.
