Deliverance Game officially confirmed for next year

Fans eager for the next entry in Kingdom Come: Deliverance franchise won't have to wait too long, as Warhorse Studios has announced that the next game in the series could launch as soon as next year. The future of Kingdom Come: Deliverance series have been in question ever since rumors began circulating about Warhorse Studios' next project.

Blending a dense, historically accurate open world with a fun cast of characters and intricate game mechanics, Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been a highly acclaimed RPG since its release in 2018. Most recently, Warhorse Studios launched Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 in early 2025, built on everything the first game did and made it even better while addressing the main complaints fans had about the original. Warhorse's work paid off as Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 launched to critical acclaim and was a forerunner in Game of the Year discussions, right next door Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. A year later, some rumors started circulating that Warhorse was developing a game set in The Lord of the Rings universe, which Warhorse itself confirmed during a developer livestream on May 21, 2026.

During that stream, the development studio also announced that a new game is set in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance franchise is on the way, making fans want more information about when it's released and what it's about.
