Will Serfort aims to join the Ice Faction in Season 2, Episode 7
Reuniting with Elfaria comes first
One of the factions in Mercedes Caulis Tower is the Ice Faction, currently led by Elfaria Albis Serfort. The Ice Faction is also considered one of the strongest factions, largely due to Elfaria's overwhelming ice magic, which can freeze large areas instantly, overwhelm other Magia Vander with extreme cold, and establish total control over the battlefield. Without a doubt, Elfaria stands near the top.
It's not a surprise that Will Serfort wants to join the Ice Faction over any other factions in the tower. From the start, Will Serfort wants to reunite with Elfaria, who preceded him in creating unique and original ice-based magic spells at such a young age. Now that Will finally gets a chance to reach Elfaria after all these years of hoping and praying, he deserves to stand before her, not as someone left behind but as an equal who has grown through relentless struggle.
The only thing Will Serfort needs to do now is impress the faction heads and pass the pruning ceremony with flying colours. The same goes for Julius, who also wants to join the Ice Faction. While the decision rests in Elfaria's hands, the Upper Institute still has the power to reject Will Serfort.

Kreutz Harlon is one of the newest characters in the Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 which is clearly not on Will Serfort's side. Like Professor Edward, Kreutz rejects Will Serfort's overpowered anti-magic abilities, believing that only High Mages who can actually use magic deserve to ascend the tower and eventually become a full-fledged Magia Vander.
In section 7 of Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2, Kreutz Harlon plans to use a powerful prison monster to stop Will Serfort's ascension. This monster can only be defeated through magic, creating a deadly disadvantage for Will, who must rely on Julius to pull off a powerful stomach blade attack.
