As Xbox Game Pass lineup for June 2026 is starting to take shape, one thing is very clear: there's a lack of a statement single-player RPG for gamers to sink their teeth into. While there's still a large variety of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass next month, the past few months have seen gamers better served in the RPG department than the upcoming offerings will.
Xbox Game Pass offers players a large library of games to enjoy on PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S consoles for a fixed monthly fee. It has a revolving door of titles that come and go, and some have argued that Xbox Game Pass offers the best value in gaming. Regardless of their favorite genre, players can usually find something to their liking in the Game Pass library.

Xbox Game Pass June 2026 Lineup Lacks a Statement Single-Player RPG
There are currently five games confirmed for Xbox Game Pass in June 2026. Beastly is a unique cooking roguelike, Densh attack! is a speed skating game that is an assault on the senses, Frog Squad is a fun co-op puzzle platformer, and Vapor World: Over the Mind is a narrative-driven soul-like platformer. Different strokes for different folks, to be sure. The fifth title is The The Elder Scrolls Onlinewhich, while an MMORPG, doesn't quite scratch the same itch as a single-player RPG that players can really get lost in.

It's worth noting that 2026 has been an incredible year for RPGs on Xbox Game Pass. January started with Final Fantasy 1with Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Avowedand The Witcher 3 Complete Edition the following in February. The subscription service kept pace into March as well Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, Cyberpunk 2077and Disco Elysium: The Final Cut. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Final Fantasy 4and Oblivion remastered arrived in April and players were invited Final Fantasy 5 in May. It's been an excellent run for RPG fans on Xbox Game Pass, and it would be a huge shame if it didn't continue into June with another big title.
Xbox Game Pass users still have plenty to look forward to throughout the rest of the year, with many confirmed titles currently without release dates. Games like Fable, Gears of War: E-Dayand Halo: Campaign Evolved should all come to Game Pass day one, and there will no doubt be even more excellent games revealed as 2026 progresses.

Xbox is currently in a transition period following Phil Spencer's retirement as early as February 2026. Spencer was replaced by Asha Sharma as CEO, who has signaled major changes in Xbox's direction going forward. One of her first significant moves was to lower the price of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, which she claimed had “become too expensive for too many gamers.” This also meant that future Call of Duty titles would no longer arrive on the platform on day one, but feedback on the change was generally positive. The future looks bright under Sharma's leadership, but it remains to be seen whether Xbox can maintain its recent strong momentum.
