Even though it is Diablo 4: Lord of Hatreds all-new class, Warlock players run into issues with being kicked out of co-op parties. Diablo 4s party system allows players to band together to tackle content such as dungeons, Helltides and Dark Citadel. Supplementing this content with a party can make it significantly easier, provided players can actually see what they're doing while grouped together in co-op.
Co-op support for War Plans is currently not in Diablo 4but there are plans to implement it for next season.
Although the class may not be at the top of the meta in Diablo 4 Season 13, with Barbarians and Sorcerers holding down the top spots, Warlock is far from weak. Being able to summon demons and cast sigils can go a long way in taking some of the pressure off party members when playing in co-op, drawing aggro from enemies and giving teammates room to catch their breath. But Warlock's best built-in Diablo 4 Season 13 is something of a double-edged sword, as it seems to be the source of player complaints when teaming up with the class.

Diablo 4 Season 13 Nerfs One Class Too Hard
What was once one of the best classes in previous Diablo 4 seasons has seen a serious nerf in Season 13, and it comes at the most unfortunate time.
Warlock players getting kicked out of co-op parties in Diablo 4
In a post by Reddit user Thegirisan, the user laments being kicked out of parties for playing Warlock, and goes on to say that they don't blame other players for doing so. The reason why Warlock has become something of a black sheep among Diablo 4 players depend on the heavy shield pipe the class creates when using their abilities. Between the many summoned demons the Warlock can have active at any time and the constant flashing from casting the Warlock's Apocalypse Ultimate Skill, being in a party with the class can be hard on the eyes and make it harder for players to see what they are doing in the heat of battle.

Other users commented on Thegirisan's post by sharing similar stories, with several commenters noting that they even stopped playing Warlock and started a new build on a different class just to avoid having to deal with Warlock's antics. One user suggested it Diablo 4 could implement the option to turn off attack animations for other players, so teammates stuck in a party don't have to worry about being distracted by other players' animations.
Another commenter even suggested allowing players to switch to essentially a “single player only” mode to remove the risk of running into Warlocks outside of a party, as their computer would often crash due to the heavy animation load when multiple Warlocks played together in a Helltide. In a separate Reddit post, user PartyLack4459 shows how awkward Apocalypse Warlock's animations can be, especially when using multiple skills at once. This video shows Warlock casting Apocalypse while multiple Umbral Chains spin around enemies, and Dark Prison with the Chain Aura upgrade keeps a constant contour around Warlock.
The visual clutter associated with Warlock, combined with the new class's less than peak performance, has turned many Diablo 4 players from it in Season 13. For players who are not interested in party games and want to avoid seeing too many other Warlock players in the overworld, they can turn off Diablo 4s crossplay to try to reduce the number of players they interact with.
