Black clover was once one of Weekly Shonen Jump's biggest manga series, having started its journey in February 2015. However, due to Tabata's health, the manga was moved to Jump GIGA's seasonal magazine. Over the years, serialization of the manga has slowed down tremendously, and its ending took forever to reveal. On May 1, 2026, about a week ago, the manga finally reached its end.
When the manga ended, many plot points were finally resolved after years of waiting. The title of Wizard King was earned by the protagonist Asta, but the deuteragonist Yuno still has his own responsibilities to uphold. At the end of Black clover in chapter 392, Yuno achieved the title of captain of the Golden Dawn Squad after his loss to Asta. Meanwhile, romantically, his storyline has also developed further.

In Jump GIGA's official Spring 2026 issue, the final batch of Black Clover chapters was finally released and it turned out to be one of the most exciting yet. These chapters featured the huge battle for the grand title of Wizard King, which took place between the main character and the deuteragonist of the series. After a six month time jump, Asta and Yuno faced off for the title. Their fight was incredible, even though it was short. At the end of it all though, Yuno lost the battle, but that was to be expected in a way. Asta, who is the main character, was very likely to win from the beginning.

At the end of Black Clover, Yuno is officially outclassed by his greatest rival, Asta. He has also lost the battle for the title of Wizard King, and that is something he will never hold unless something happens to Asta. Even though Yuno lost an important title, he still received a prestigious title befitting his own merits. In chapter 392 of the manga, Yuno became the brand new captain of the Golden Dawn squad.
The Golden Dawn squad is a group that Yuno has long been very dedicated to. He joined the team at the beginning of Black Clover in Chapter 2 and has been one of its most impressive members ever since. Becoming their captain is more than deserved, although fans expected more from him, especially after the revelation of his connection to the Spade Kingdom. When it comes to fulfilling this role, he's been traveling between Spade and the Clover Kingdom to carry out his responsibilities, but that's about the gist of what fans were told based on the ending of Black Clover chapter 392.

Romantically, Yuno remains single in Black Clover's Ending
In Black Clover Chapter 392, many couples were formed, including Yami and Charlotte, or Charmy and Rill. Shockingly, however, the two main characters in the Black Clover story, Asta and Yuno, are single. Many thought Asta would end up with Noelle, but that doesn't seem to be the case, at least for now. For Yuno, a similar scenario has played out. Despite a 2-year time jump, Yuno doesn't have a partner, and unlike Asta, there isn't even any setup for him to meet someone in the future.

Yuno's future in black clover after chapter 392
Black Clover's the main story ended in chapter 392, and for now it is the finale of this series. However, based on how other major shonen series have handled their endings lately, such as My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, fans can expect extra content to be revealed with the final volume. Black Clover Volume 38 will be released on August 4, 2026, and in it, new content for Yuno could finally be revealed.
In the bonus content, another time jump can occur, and fans can even see Yuno acting in full as the new leader of the Golden Dawn Squad. Yuno and Asta can fight together as the new wizard king and the new leader of the most prestigious team in the Clover Kingdom. In this time jump, fans are hoping that some characters will take an interest in Yuno, even if it's a random supporting character with not much of a past role in the series.
