Among these powerful Devil Fruit users, only a select few have what it takes to be called the most powerful and dominate the era.

• Devil Fruit: Hie Hie no Mi

Kuzan, formerly known as Admiral Aokiji, is an incredibly powerful character. Kuzan was known to have immense strength as an admiral of the marines before the time warp, and Kuzan was even in contention to become the admiral of the fleet, meaning he was extremely powerful. He has the power of Hie Hie no Mi, which is a Logia type of Devil Fruit that allows him to become ice as well as create and manipulate it.

Kuzan can do incredible things, like freeze an entire ocean for days in an instant or completely eliminate his opponents by freezing them to the bone. Added to that is Kuzan's powerful Haki, which he trained under Garp himself. All of these things make Kuzan one of the most powerful Devil Fruit users in One Piece. Perhaps his greatest Devil Fruit feat is constantly turning half of Punk Hazard into a snowy wasteland.

Akainu was once an Admiral of the Navy, but after Sengoku's departure after the Summit War, he fought and defeated Aokiji to become the new Admiral of the Marines. Akainu is one of the strongest Devil Fruit users in One Piece. This is due to the nature of his Magu Magu no Mi, which is a Logia-type fruit, allowing him to become magma as well as create and manipulate it freely.

He is one of the most powerful Devil Fruit users in the One Piece world, and his strength is said to rival that of Yonkos. Akainu's Devil Fruit has incredibly high offensive power, and combined with his immense Haki, it makes him one of the most dangerous enemies in the series' final saga.

• Devil Fruit: Yokai Abilities

The Five Elders are some of the most powerful characters in the One Piecewho finally showed his abilities in the Egghead Arc of the final saga. In the New World and the Great Line, the Five Elders stand as some of the most overpowered characters, and much of that is due to the Abyssal contract they share with Nerona Imu. This contract grants them infinite regeneration, immortality, agelessness, and superhuman strength.

On top of all that, it also gives them yokai abilities, which are akin to Mythical Zoan-type Devil Fruit powers. Each Elder has a unique transformation that makes them incredibly overpowered and allows them to hold their own against even a Yonko like Luffy, sometimes even dominating him. The full extent of the Elder's powers have not been shown in the series yet, but it goes without saying that they are incredibly powerful and will only grow even stronger as the final saga continues.

Boa Hancock is one of the most powerful characters in the world One Pieceand much of that is due to her very powerful Paramecia-type Devil Fruit ability called Mero Mero no Mi. This Devil Fruit allows Hancock to use her charm to petrify those around her. Anyone who has any kind of positive feeling for Hancock can and will be petrified by her ability when she wants to.

More than that, Hancock can also petrify inanimate objects or those who feel nothing for her by making contact with abilities like Perfume Femur. This Devil Fruit is one of the deadliest in the One Piece world, considering that even a Yonko like Blackbeard was afraid of it, fearing a loss in a confrontation with the Snake Princess.

• Devil Fruit: Gura Gura no Mi, Yami Yami no Mi

Blackbeard stands as one of the Yonko in the New World, and he is perhaps the most overpowered Devil Fruit user in the pirate ranks. Blackbeard has access to two powerful Devil Fruits, they are Gura Gura no Mi, which is said to be the strongest Paramecia ability, capable of producing world-destroying earthquakes, and Yami Yami no Mi, which is a Logia ability that can absorb anything, including light itself, as well as remove the powers of all other Devil Fruits.

Blackbeard is still growing as a Devil Fruit user and is not at the peak of his power, but it is already clear to see that he is one of the strongest ability users in the Grand Line, whose influence will only grow in the Final Saga.

Recently introduced in Elbaph, Loki is the Cursed Prince and one of the deadliest Devil Fruit users in One Piece. 14 years ago, Loke ate the Ryu Ryu no Mi, model: Nidhoggr, and this fruit made him incredibly dangerous.

Loki has the ability to transform into an absolutely huge dragon that towers over entire lands and has the power to destroy the world. Loki's lightning can basically vaporize entire islands, making him one of the most powerful characters to ever live in the One Piece world.

Monkey D. Luffy ate the very first Devil Fruit shown in One PieceGomu Gomu no Mi. This Devil Fruit is nothing special in its normal state, but once awakened, it gives Luffy the power of the sun god Nika, turning him into a deity who brings laughter and joy wherever he goes.

Luffy gets incredibly overpowered with his Gear 5, so much so that he can even compete with the likes of Kaido in combat with it. Right now, Luffy stands as one of the most powerful Devil Fruit users in the Grand Line, and much of that is due to the awakening of Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. Perhaps the biggest asset of his Devil Fruit is the ability to use Nika's imagination. Anything Luffy imagines can turn into reality, giving him a lot of versatility in battle.

Nerona Imu

Arguably the strongest Devil Fruit user in the Grand Line of One Piece is none other than Nerona Imu. In the Elbaph arc, Oda finally revealed Imu's powers at Akuma no Mi, making him the devil himself. Imu can transform into the devil as well as a devil-human hybrid, making him one of the most powerful characters in One Piece.

He wields mage-like abilities, including certain spells, as well as having the power to bestow his abilities on others. Imu's most impressive power is the Omen, which grants him black flames of immense destructive power, as well as complementary powers such as boosting those who serve directly under him. Imu also has powers like Domi Reversi and Covenants at his disposal, and all of this is just a fraction of what he can really do.
