When is Season 3 re-released for Black Ops 7 & Warzone?

Season 3 is being rebooted for Black Ops 7 and War zone officially released Thursday, April 30 at 9 a.m. PT. The preload for the mid-season update will likely roll out first on Battle.net on Monday, with preloads for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S soon after.

Endgame content: new operation, abomination and more

Endgame gets a substantial content reduction with season 3 Reloaded in the form of the new Operation Broken Mirror. Just like Operation Poison Pill, this update tasks players with completing objectives to unlock rewards. A new activity is also coming, along with a new Major Ability. Here's a rundown of everything coming to Endgame:

• Operation Broken Mirror: Complete missions in Endgame to earn rewards like Blueprints, Operator Skins and free camos
• Mega Abomination Activity: Take on the Mega Abomination as a new Strike Boss, unlocked during the final stages of Operation Broken Mirror
• Thermal Tip Main Ability: Set surrounding enemies on fire, similar to the Wild Fire Field Upgrade from Zombies

Multiplayer content: Summit Multiplayer map, new modes and more

Three new maps are coming to Multiplayer with Season 3 Reloaded, including a brand new location and two returning favorites from previous titles. Here are all the maps making their debut:

• Onsen (6v6/2v2): A brand new map
• Summit (6v6): A remastered map first seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops
• Hacienda (6v6): A remastered map first seen in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

Three modes are also coming in Season 3 Reloaded, including the return of a classic and two brand new experiences. Here's a rundown of all the modes coming with the mid-season update:

• Freerun (launch): Complete a parkour course in 10 zones to earn free rewards like camos and more
• Heat Wave Havoc (in season): A mosh pit with Team Deathmatch, Kill Confirmed, Domination and Hardpoint, all with Heat Levels that introduce game-changing effects
• Freeze Tag (in season): A 6v6 mode where teams compete by freezing opponents to score points

Zombie Content: Totenreich Zombies Map & Field Upgrade

Zombie fans finally get a new map with the launch of Season 3 Reloaded, which takes players to the Norwegian town of Eidskallen, now plunged into the Dark Aether. This map has a World War II aesthetic and will likely see Richtofen and crew face off against the next Shadowsmith. However, that is not all that is to come. Here's a summary of the new Zombies content:

• Totenreich round based map: Includes Jotunn Star Wonder Weapon, Necropincer Elite Enemy and a brand new Main Quest
• Wild Fire Field Upgrade: Sets nearby enemies on fire while increasing movement speed
• Totenriech Main Quest Rewards: Ambition Richtofen Operator skin and phone card

Warzone Content: New modes, equipment and more

The content update for War zone Season 3 is definitely the smallest of all modes, but it still brings a solid set of new modes and features. Here's a rundown of everything to come War zone with season 3 reloaded:

• Hot Pursuit (new location on Avalon): A team mode with two teams, police and thieves. The police must hunt down the thieves, with both sides using unique vehicles and abilities. The last squad remaining wins.
• Prop Hunt Royale (new location on Rebirth Island): Prop Hunt arrives on Rebirth Island, with the same ruleset as Black Ops 7 version of the mode.
• Spikes: A new purchase station comes in three variants: Armor Salvaging, Prone Firing and Handicraft
• Cluster Grenade: A deadly equipment from Black Ops 7 which carries over to War zone.

Global content: new weapons, limited-time events and more

Moving on to global content, there are a bunch of new weapons and accessories available in all modes. Two new weapons are added as Event Rewards, while all new attachments come from Weekly Challenges, which roll out every Thursday at 9:00 a.m. PT. Here are all the charging options coming mid-season:

• RoboCop Event Pass: Serve RoboCop-themed rewards (operator, camos and more) by gaining XP. Includes a premium track for 1,100 COD points.
• Freerun Ascent Challenge: A new leaderboard event for Freerun, with new camo rewards and more.
• Call of Duty Challenge CODE Navigator: A new challenge event that offers exclusive rewards.
• Ranked Series Season 3 Event for Multiplayer and War zone: Finish Ranked Season 3 with two more leaderboard events. The minimum entry requirement is Gold Rank, with new camos and additional rewards available.
