The games available on the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers continue to grow, as a new update on April 21 officially added seven new Extra games and one new Premium title. For those who subscribe to the former, the following games are now available for download: Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered, The Crew Motorfest, Football Manager 26 Console, WARRIORS: Abyss, Squirrel with a Gun, The Casting of Frank Stoneand Monster train. In the case of Premium users, the PlayStation 2 classic, Wild Arms 4is now available as part of the class classic catalog. Unlike the monthly Essential games, Extra and Premium titles cannot be claimed permanently and are only available to play as long as they are part of the game catalog.
Undoubtedly, it is the standout addition of this month Horizon Zero Dawn remasteredwhich is available to PlayStation 5 owners. Those still using their PlayStation 4 will still be able to embark on Aloy's adventure, but not with the remastered version of the game. Instead, PS4 users who subscribe to PS Plus Extra or Premium will be able to download Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Editionwhich includes various digital bonus content and Frozen Wilds DLC.
Unfortunately, with new games being added to the service today, there are also some titles leaving PS Plus Extra and Premium on April 21. The beloved indie game Dave the diver will be unavailable to PS Plus subscribers starting today, along with Disaster Report 4: Summer Memories, EA Sports PGA Tour, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, Spotlings, and TowerFall Ascension. There's always a chance that some, or all, of these games could return to the service in the future, but those who haven't checked out any of the aforementioned titles will have to either wait for their eventual return, or outright purchase them.

For anyone based in the UK planning to check out the latest PS Plus Extra and Premium games for April 2026, they'll soon need to make sure they've verified their age for their PlayStation account. Whether it's PS4 or PS5, Sony is now following the latest changes to UK law and forcing its users to verify their age to continue using various social features, such as messaging, voice chat and more. Although gaming will not be affected by the requirement, the company now joins other competitors such as Valve and Microsoft in enforcing age requirements in the UK.
